  • i got the same helicopter and only the front bottom rotor blade doesnt work????????

  • @youbisung12345 I have seen that problem before, make sure that the gears are lined up, and that there is not something like a thread tangled in there stopping it from working. So far I have bought 13 of these exact helicopters for myself and for gifts to friends, and I've only had out of the box problems with 2 of them. One of them had the wrong freq on the controller, so we had to use another controller we already had, and one had bad gears and the blades would not spin correctly.

  • @BeanMeister22 yeah thanks very much. im just going to go back the shop a show them.

  • its good but i bought two of them and they both broke

  • @Mcuniversal77 Were these your first RC helicopters? I only ask this because it took me awhile to learn that RC helicopters are really not that easy to learn to fly, and I have broken a dozen of them learning to fly. As RC helicopters go, this model is pretty sturdy, and breaking one of these was not nearly as bad as when I broke one of my $250 helicopters :(

  • I GOT one last year on Christmas and its easy to fly, so much fun... amazing value, im on my third now... lol i love it

  • @BeanMeister22

i have that exact helicpoter (RC), i bought it for £60.00 about a year ago, and when i fly it. it suddenly has a mind of it's own and accelarates for few seconds and then the connection just drops

  • Like the last post I was interested in this helicopter's cargo capacity. My Kodak Playsport camera is just under 4oz.

  • how many chanells?

  • how much does it cost

  • @MrDippledork it costs for the small one 19.95 the big one cost 69.94

  • On my second one. The first was garbage and wouldn't talk with the control, rather it would just take off. Second one worked ok with full battery and then the god damn black lab next door saw it and tore into it like a duck in mid air. I thought about shooting him but didn't. So, I had to use the body from the first one to repair it.

  • All you need is a bucket of army men and youll have a blast on a rainy day

  • i have one and it is best to fly outside but BEWARE OF STRONG WINDS AS YOU GET ROTER BASH AND IT GOES INTO THE GROUND......................... HARD

  • This is not the big one.. the big one is like half a meter long.. This is the mini one.

  • @cageboyes how much do the big one cost? and can i get it in germany? thanks

  • U stole mine!

  • 1:19 u have never flown a Chinook heli.

    passengers get off board.

Captian; oh shit im gonna die

  • Contest comment for the shuttle contest.Do you customize helicopters?

  • Can the helicopter actually turn or is it like the reflex and just spin???

  • Ahoy there Meister! I have had the micro version of this heli, and I had to go back to the store 4 times because something did not work. You seem to have been lucky with that one - is it still working? How many hours have you flown? Have you crashed? Thanks

  • LOL 1:09 pause look at script 1:15 alright

  • @deadly10101 I think that was the instruction for the helicopter

  • it looks awesome. Beanmeister i have a question. I had an S012 (apache) from syma. it turned rapidly when I started increasing freq. of the propeller (when i accelerated) it started turning to the left i believe. do you have any problems like this with the chinook or does it go straight up? I thank you for your answer :D

  • @uros160 If you get a chance, take a look at some of my other RC videos where I have ones similar to yours. What you describe is a common problem with copters in that price range. Try to adjust the trim in the opposite direction as the spin. If that does not work, find the exact position on the left/right toggle that stops the spin and always known you will have to set it there to level out. Sometimes powering it is the forward direction will eliminate the spin; this works on my V22 Osprey.

  • @uros160 Part #2:

Usually the Chinooks do not spin as much as some of the others but they may have a tendency to slowly spin when you hover. During takeoff I have found that if I try to be gentle and not give it enough power, it will want to spin, or even flop over. So it helps to fly them in an area where there is no chance of hitting anything, that way we do not have to fear giving it more power. The copter in this video is the easiest one I have ever flown, this was my first flight with it.

  • @uros160 one of your propellers are broken the motor is not spinning as fast so the helicopter begins to spin with the off balance

  • Hey, great video!

  • whats the length of it in inches? thanks

  • Same thing I have got it 2 days ago but in different box

  • Nice

  • Nic

  • Nice

  • Nice

  • mine broke make a vid o how to fix pleesseeeeeeeeeeee

  • Why make a video of your FIRST flight? You make it look hard to fly, when really you just suck.

  • @McNihilation Why do you even bother to comment on a video, when you really have nothing to say?

  • @BeanMeister22 well said

  • I have just bought one, Waiting for delivery. Is it ok for an absolute beginner? I have never flown a RC before. Any tips?

  • @drmartyn al coaxials are made for beginners, plus there tougher than normal ones

  • how high can it go (metres) or (feet).

  • @nichoxx100 big chinook is can go 50 meters high

  • how long does it take for it to take off

  • how big is it?

  • @suinkimster It is about a foot long, if you click on the ad for xheli, you can see all the specs. Go to their webpage, click on search by type, then click on tandem helicopters, then click on 3 channel tandem helicopters. It is currently selling for $44.95.

  • @BeanMeister22 I paid $43.32 at nitro planes, its on sale

  • @darkest1paintballa i paid 20 $ at helipal HAH! beat that

  • @Darkmessiah121 How much was the shipping? And was it this same model, or did you get the micro one?

  • @BeanMeister22 How much lift does this have? Are the motors powerful enough to lift a can of Dr. Pepper to my lazy ass? But in all seriousness can this heli lift anything?

  • Looks stable, does it have a built in Gyroscope?

  • @ironmansuperman No I do not think so, but it is the most stable helicopter I have flown so far.

  • @BeanMeister22 I was thinking I wa going to get one but I want a simple radioremote last time I had a heli i had to adjust it an it didnt turn out so well

  • WOW!!! That looks epic :D Stick a camera on it and film :)

  • @EpicStig Thanks, I did a review on the Venom Snake Eyes mini camera, and when I get a chance I will mount it on a bigger helicopter and make a video about it.

  • @BeanMeister22 NICE!!! Cant wait for that :D

  • very good

  • @CUPIDOMELAJUGO Thanks, this one is very easy to fly.

  • Nice Helicopter ! I had a Chinook from Walkera, but it was to big for my Livingroom ! :-)

  • @hwluxxbundymania I wanted to buy that one, but it is currently out of stock. What I do not like about that one, is that it is open on the bottom. When I do get around to buying it, I will try to seal up the bottom with green plastic wrap.

  • So cool ..I want one..

  • @springtime65 xheli has them for $45

  • Nice video; I think I saw a helicopter like this in an Argos Catalogue :D

The camera exploding at the end always gets me though D:

  • @Damocles178 I think they cost less at Xheli; this is a lot of chopper for only $45.

  • Cooollll !!

  • @ay76 Thanks, it was both cheap and easy to fly.

  • @BeanMeister22 Wonder if it''ll be able to carry some light weight video camera?? If it can, get some great ariel shots??? Cheers.

  • That's a great review, however, would it wash the dishes for me and make me coffee?

  • @contessaoreilly No, that one costs just a little bit more than this one did:)

  • @BeanMeister22 is the remote difficult to work like do you have to like set the trimsand do all that RE

  • Myself and Sparkshot have both flown in the full 1:1 Chinooks :)

Love the video chap, these reviews are really interesting.

  • @simierski Truth be told, I have only flown in Chinooks about 3 times, as a Marine I usually flew in CH46 Sea Knights.

I never liked flying in choppers. I was just considered cargo; as they say, I was in the rear, with the gear:)

  • @BeanMeister22 - Lol, I know that feeling all too well! TA, reserve, and generally bottom of the pile. But I did love flying in over the Irish sea, beautiful sights.

One of the most incredible helicopters the world has ever known. Comparing your chinook to my 15 year old RC Cessna shows how much RC planes/helicopters/boats have come on in leaps and bounds over the last 20 years. Truly incredible stuff.

  • Thats an impressive and cool chopper, I was waiting for the backdrop to meet the chopper, nice flying considering it was such a small space.

  • @leokimvideo That happened a couple of times, but with the magic of editing, I make it look like I know what I am doing here:)

    This helicopter was only $45

  • Nice Chinook good flying i am fave it

  • @zachinger Thanks, this is really easy to fly, if you have seen any of my other helicopter videos, you can tell that I am just not very good at flying them.

  • I have always wanted to ride in a real one of those. They are awesome. This is my fave.

  • You're getting good at this.. :)

  • @BasicModelling Thanks, but to be honest this one is just easy to fly. How easy you ask?

Well, I am flying it in an area that is 8ft by 8ft, and in a room that is 20ft by 12ft, and in this video you can see by looking at my background curtain, just how much rotor wash is generated. Even with all these wind currents being generated by this helicopter, it is still very stable in flight.

  • OH no! It's the tie Dyed Sheet of DEATH! ha ha! This one seems more stable than previous ones. Love the little lights on it.

  • @skitzostudios

I agree, the lights look really cool on this copter as well as on the Fly Wolf in the other video. In fact, the lights on the Fly Wolf are almost mini spot lights. A couple of years ago when I bought my lights, I also ordered 2 of these background cloths; blue and brown/purple. I wish I had also ordered the dark red cloth, since they were only $99 each.

  • Oh no! The Tie Dyed Sheet of DEATH! I like the little lights on this one and it seems to be much more stable than some of the others.

  • It responds well to the controls. They are great it have mini cameras on them for aerial views and spying. Listening to this, I can see why in the Pacific, in Pidgen English, the word helicopter is "mixmaster". It does sound like a mixmaster egg beater...haha... But they also have the cargo cult.

  • @saintfletcher This one is a dream to fly, and it kinda does sound like a mixer or blender. I don't think this one is powerful enough to lift that Venom mini cam I bought, but eventually I do plan on getting a copter that can take some birds eye view video footage:)

  • Looks to be pretty airworthy. Is that built in battery user replaceable?

  • @anmoose Yes, just one screw holds it in. I like this type much better than the ones whose batteries have to be taken out to charge them. I have sometimes found that properly inserting and hooking up the batteries in the other type can be a pain. The MadHawk is like that, and every time I make a "hard" landing, the battery door pops open.

  • Now that was a cool helicopter...

What is something like that worth and how do I get me one of those?

5 "Thumbs to the Helicopter Skies"

  • @dontheman17

If you click on one of the Xheli ads on my video, it will take you to their website, on the left sidebar of that site click on Shop By Price, then click on $25 - $50. They are going for about $45, and that is much cheaper than I have seen them at hobby stores. These look real cool, and they are VERY easy to fly, compare this video with ANY of my other helicopter videos, and you will see what I mean.

  • Been in a Huey, but never a Chinook...

That thing looks awesome!!! Basically, anything that flies by remote control looks awesome to me, but this takes the cake!!

  • @MZMStudios What is really cool about this, was that it was so easy to fly. If you watch some of my other helo videos, you will see that I suck at flying them. This was the first time I have ever flown this type of helo, and there was really no learning curve at all.

  • @BeanMeister22 It looked very smooth!! I may have to look into getting one for myself. =)

  • Looks like you're finally getting the hang of them or was this one just easier to fly?

  • @VirtuallyAddicted This one is just that easy to fly. My longest flight was almost 3 minutes, but most of it was out of view of the camera. So far this is the best one I have had a chance to fly. Today I also flew the worst, and I hope to get that video posted sometime in the next day or so.

  • Thumbs UP!

I loved the sound, loved the lights, and really love the looks of that thing!

    Chinook ROCKS!

    Thanks for sharing bro.

  • @WORRO01 I just ordered you one, I will let you know when it ships.
