The guy is speaking a language that clearly isn't his 1st, and as somebody mentioned before, he is dealing with a very switched on musician and person in general, which is a rare thing to find these days in the modern music scene, where people are now VERY expendable. Here one min, and gone the next never to be heard of again

It doesn't mean she's an actual witch, although Wicca has become a nearly mainstream religion in many places these days, the West Coast, for instance. If she's also a real witch/Wiccan, well hey, why not?

I was hopeful, at the time, that she was a witch, because I was a Wiccan at the time I wrote that. I'm more generally a pagan now, but my hope for her being one has remained.
