  • Only a few miles away from the transmitter here, and can pick this up pretty clearly on standard AM

  • That ATIS, atis is on VHF, and is ment for short distance reception, so it only provides specific info on one airodrome. VOLMET is desinged for long range reception, and has iinformatuion on many airfields.
