How could you hate all those games? They're fun, build excitement, and offer fantastic prizes. Besides, "Plinko" is the populest ame on the show, how could you go wrong with that?! If you want a boring game, "Double Prices" is your answer.
@systemoperator I'll tell you how, because they eat away at time for one. Also, no one ever wins $50000 on Plinko, so where is the excitement in that. Also, 3 Strikes is too long because constants take too long deciding where the number goes. Golden Road has a lot worthless prizes, except for that Tesla car on the Earth Day episode. Ten Chances? No one knows how the game works. That's why I praise Any Number, Lucky Seven, and Race Game.
@systemoperator Any Number does build up excitement, but also you are guaranteed a prize. Lucky Seven builds up excitement because you never know what number you would get. Race Game builds up excitement because you have 45 seconds to run around like an idiot to win a prize. To answer your question, yes.
Well, so can those other four games. It doesn't matter if the length of the game is long, or if no one can win the top prize, or what the prizes are, or if no one understands the game, they're excitin games.
@systemoperator The only thing I can say is that they are bringing back two of the four games. Plinko and Ten Chances have been changed. Golden Road won't retire easily, but 3 Strikes is still in question.
I'm a little worried about "3 Strikes" because they changed the rules this season, but not one person managed to win it this season, and I'm worried that's going to end up retired. Same for "Gas Money".
@systemoperator Gas Money was a huge mistake. No one has won 3 Strikes in 3 years. The last contestant won a Corvette. Under the Carey era, they have retired Barker's Markers, Barker's Bargain Bar, Check Game, and Credit Card. If 3 Strikes retires, that will be the beginning of the end for the big four. Ten Chances would follow, then Golden Road, and Plinko would go last.
"Check Game" and "Credit Card" aren't retired, they're on hiatus. "Gas Money" isn't a mistake, it's a great game. Plus, the last win on "3 Strikes" was actually October 2008. Also, they aren't planning on retiring "Golden Road" and "Plinko" retire because they're still famous.
@systemoperator Well, Plinko isn't as famous as it once was. Greco uses Golden Road more than any of the other three games. You're right, Greco needs to use Gas Money more often. I think Check Game and Credit Card will unfortunately retire this year. 3 Strikes is still in question. I can't explain it anymore.
@domirules28 Even with the "Zero rule" you can still lose. The only thing the "Zero rule" does is just increase the chances of winning. In the 1970s, the "Zero rule" didn't exist.

The latest it can be is Summer 1996, because the doors don't have balloons and other decorations on them as they did for seasons 25 and on.

Ten Chances, one of four boring games on TPIR. Here are the four games I hate: Ten Chances, Three Strikes, Golden Road, and Plinko.

I don't think "Check Game" and "Credit Card" will retire. They're currently getting refurbished right now.

@systemoperator No, I think they are going to retire.

@AMEwrestling: one of the easiest to win though....if you pay attention and have seen the game played before, you can spot the "zero rule"
