I have a 2010 fat bob with 1038 miles. The plug wire that fires the fron cyl is turning light brown and the heat shields r turning blue. The dealer says that's normal I say B.S.-any suggestions
I have a 2010 dyna fat bob with 1038 miles. The plug wire that fires the front cyl is turning brown and the heat shields r turning blue. The dealer can' find anything wrong-any suggestions?
Nice video and nice bike. I trust you have pleasant rides with it! However, the licence plate cracked me up! Brand new and already falling apart, lol! Don't get me wrong, I'm just kidding; I'm getting such a bike in two months. I'm 1m92 and I feel very confortable on it! Ride on, ride safe! Oh and by the way, are fluorescent jackets mandatory to ride in your place?
While having a recall service done on my Suzuki I saw a 2011 Fat Bob. I can't get that damn bike out of my head. Luckily, the price tag keeps my urge to buy it at bay. Perhaps in another year or two.
I have a 2011 Fat Bob and love it! Such an extremely well balanced bike with quite a nice grunt to it, even by factory standards. It's just got balls! I'm 6'2" tall and fit this bike very comfortably. The forward foot controls are a gem!
this is absolute beaut!!... guys most of u seem to b livin in countries wher u r blessd to hv the access to HD dealerships. i m considering one to import one for myself in my country n step-in to harley world. dnt hv much of a bike xperienc. can someone pls b very kind n guide me wth yr experiencs wat shud i get. i hv seen 883 sportster n dint like it much as it dusnt hv the real character of harley. plus i prefer 2 seats. pls pls help !!!!! :)
I have an 09 also lost a number plate screw when new. I am wondering how come both lights are on and also the indicators. This must be US spec and not Euro spec, thought they all had to be Euro spec for sale over here, does look miles better with both head lights on.
Guy asking if comfortable for 6ft 1ins yeah I am 6ft 1ins and it fits perfect with the forward controls, best bike I have ridden in a long time, wouldnt swap it for any other.
I'm looking for a new bike, and Am really interested in checkin a fat bob out but before I got to the H-D Dealer can anyone tell me if at 6'1" I'll sit comfortable on this bike?
@cszeek I think you will be pretty comfortable. You may want to stretch you legs out a little more. Go sit on one for a while and see. The reach to the bars is perfect, though.
@rawbills I'm 6"3" and I needed to add the forward controls to make mine comfortable. I opted for 4" forward customs from the net. I also added a 4" riser to the bars. I did not have to change the cables. It put the bars up about 2" over stock and now it is very comfortable on long runs
This is a cool video. I liked watching an actual customer being given the low-down by the sales guy. And you didn't mess it up with alot of narrative talk or music! I'm wanting to get off my Star 650 Classic starter bike and onto a Harley Fatbob. Was wanting to stick with the V-Star brand but saw this dark red Fatbob in the local H-D store. I'm hooked!
@snsams6 nice, first time I ever saw a picture of a Fat Bob I knew it was the bike for me! hooked indeed, have put over 13.000 mls on in the 2 years I have had it!
Funny I can see a Nightrod sitting right there by it, since I've been debating between a Nightrod and Fat Bob. I think I'd be better off keeping my CBR600RR and getting the Fat Bob, since the acceleration and handling of my RR can't be touched by either bike, but I want to go on long rides (2 hrs on the CBR starts to hurt)
@tomasibr I (Total Motorcycle) test rode the Fat Bob in July and it was quite comfortable with my 6'4" height. You can read the full review in the Motorcycle Review section of TMW.

Nice one mate, I'm looking at either a Street Bob (same frame as yours) or one of the new 48 Sporsters for my first Harley.

Congratulation! I hope you still enjoy it...
Did you changed any thing on your front light set-up, that both are on? If yes, I'd like to know where I can order this set.
thanks bro

The bike is stock. I've only added a removable windshield, but haven't had the chance to ride with it yet.

Thanks, than it must be possible to get the frontlight set-up from the US HDS

Check out the Harley-Davidson website. I'm sure you can search for a dealer through there that can answer all your questions.
