how many pieces of each weapon do i need to unlock those awards.. do i also need rarity 8(Red Colored weapons) type of weapons to unlock the award if I already have and upgraded to Rarity10 (purple) weapons???

I have upgraded most of my weapon to rarity 9 and 10 already, does that mean that i need to create another weapon with rarity 8?? because in MHF2 its already the maximum and i was not able to get my award in freedom 2, now i am on unite

1st of all there is no Monster Hunter Freedom 2G or Unite. Only portable. Monster Hunter Portable 2G is the Japanese versoin wich may have more blood, japanese words or an english patch. Monster Hunter Portable Unite is the same a 2G but, Americans censor some of the blood and it's english. Monster Hunter Freedom 2 only has HR1-6 and the armors. It doe not have the new monsters and quest.

There are currently 3 Monster Hunter games on the PSP:

Monster Hunter Portable / Monster Hunter Freedom

Monster Hunter Portable 2 / Monster Hunter Freedom 2

Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G / Monster Hunter Freedom Unite

Each game is next to it's counterpart, the Portable series is in Japanese whereas Freedom is in English (and some othe languages for the European version).

The only difference between them is that the Freedom games have less blood and slightly less DLC.
