i bought the high end loft but lost the manual.! its downloaded on my pc but i wanna download it on my laptop nd i didnt register it on ea..! help please.!!

I've reinstalled my base game...but since forcing an un-installation on the HLS--I can't install it again:

The error:

Error: Incorrect function

I hit the retry button but it just loads up to that point and the error comes again...

If anyone can help me, I do appreciate it--I'm preparing for the Generations and I'm not spending money to have to reinstall and do things over and over again...either that or I have to buy anther HLS pack...

@xlBPlx No I have not, and since then I have bought Generations and haven't reinstalled HLS since...

I'm not sure what's wrong w/ it, but for now it's still in its case - I don't have the care anymore; but good luck to you!

i was able 2 install my sims high end loft stuff but it crashes about 5 mins in2 the game wtf y is it doin that plz help

is this mean that when you do not have world adventures you cannot install high end loft stuff

While patching Sims 3: WA, from 2.6.11 to 2.7.7, there is a CRC error that occurs that says this "DeltaBuild_p02.package doesn't match the file in the setup's .cab file". Do you know how to fix is error?

And in order to install High-End Loft Stuff, what version do I actually need to patch till?

@HatredOfHate never heard of it before, i would suggest reinstalling your games and see if that helps

I also did get a CRC error from updating 2.6.11 to 2.7.7 (even reinstalled Sims 3 & world adventures twice) but managed to fix it. Using the EA download manager to download the updates fixes it...there is obviously something wrong with EA's patch files.

@kyrahashim u cant download it or you cannot run it? if uve tried to run the file to install it and it has an error try uninstalling all your sims games and reinstalling them which should fix it.

@runnakos there are install note said 1. install TS3 (done) 2.before install this expansion pack go to Disk 1 Support folder, Update the Patch. when I update its pops out ' the setup has detected that no version of TS3 is installed. this update requires that a previous version of the application be installed :(

@mesinajo u havent put the crack in the right place or u crack does not work properly. Apply the crack to your game/bin folder and if u need a new one u can get one from gameburnworld

@ekdrmssama usually i just download any and they work but best thing to do imo is download one and if it dont work try a dif one, they only take a few seconds to dl, i used the top one

after i patched my sims 3 to 1.4XXXXXx  then i install WA ... if i wan install HELS shall i download the patch/update to raise my Wa version in order to install the game ?

@maple1314 yes, best thing to do is when you reinstall the sims 3, update to the latest patch, you can go through the launcher and update it through there once youve installed WA

@mynamesnotonthelist it may have said its "infected" but if it was im pretty sure me or one of the other people who downloaded it would have also got it come up on there anti virus but ive been using the site for years and had no problem so i know its safe or i wouldent of posted the link. up to you wether or not u dl it tho u can always get it somewhere else

I already installed the sims 3 (unfortunately, I have custom contents installed to it).. no problem when updating skuver n then installing the world adventures..

but I can't install high end loft stuff now.. what should I do? reinstall all of them?? I can't even go to the launcher to uninstall the custom contents installed.. help pls.. :D thanks :D

@asudja yep, best thing to do is a reinstall to get rid of everything that shouldent be there just remember to back up your saves

I have a retail copy of sims 3 installed and then I installed World Adventures from online, mounted the disk, and updated. Then I installed High End Loft Stuff from online, mounted the disk, and updated. I got the No DVD crack for High End Loft and then replaced the cracked files, but when I load the game it shows the high end loft icon saying it's starting and then the screen shows the sims diamond, goes black and then goes back to the desktop. I'm not sure what's wrong. Thanks so much!

@rhzombory have you updated all your drivers? also if you have mods etc in there try removing them and running it

@dido0010 was it the vty files youve got? cant post one for the iso people dont usually upload them because they take longer to download. if its the vty ones youve got make a backup just in case and change the first file to .rar then extract the files and when it asks for the next one give it the one after e.g if it asks for number 1 give it number 2 once youve done that you will have the .iso

I just can't do it, I bought the sims 3 and world adventures originals, and also i bought the sims 3 high end loft stuff pack but because i bought it from another account for some reason I can't install it I have the downloader mannager...
