@antianni1 Well I think the answer is the same, as when I'm asking to myself why many people like Call of Duty: It's a matter of taste. I for myself am fascinated by aircraft and their technology, especially helicopters. It has to be great to fly a helicopter for yourself, and it's also a challenge to learn all the mechanics.

Oh and this is more a simulator than a game. ;)

@laghater It depends on the make and model of the helicopter. Some helicopters have the pilot in command in the left seat, but most place the pilot in command in the right.

This game is obvious the closest we get to arma 3 at the moment (see the volumetric clouds and PIP) The concept of this game is based on a PC classic 'sim copter' where you play a helicopter pilot that responds to call ups, fires/police chase/transports. Carrier command gea mission is the same idea, a revive of the classic 'carrier command'

Considering the detail on the buildings I am pretty sure most of the ground is just a image apart form the places you land or interact with at low level which are outfitted with more stuff, smaller buildings, people, cars and so on, by the mission makers.

Some politicians here in Germany even say, that playing shooters teach our kids on how to shoot with real weapons. It doesn't bear thinking about what would happen in the near future if they start "playing" flying around with helicopters now. ;-)
