@ushiromawashigeri the 4th dimension stuff seems to draw on Holdsworth too, the blues jazz sound sometimes used by him in the 80s. personally i'm a bit disappointed at the lack of intensity, lack of ideas being created these days in jazz. it seems so far from the heights of feeling that were being searched for in Mahavishnu, Billy Cobham's solo band, couple of other bands from back then. if anyone has new stuff more like that, please reply or message me about it.
