dude coming from someone who served overseas in a combat roll. Nothing is going to top the M16 platform. Being that it can go full sniper to cqb in seconds. All these guns are trying to fix something thats not broken. On the civ side I personally think people let some much BS make there purchases. And as far as COD goes its a game anyone basing reliability on that should go back to school. If you wanna buy a guy based on the game more power to you. Different Gun platfroms are based on application.

The Tavor TAR-21 is 10 inches shorter than the M16 and this gives in distinct capabilities in certain applications.

The M16 also has it applications as you have pointed out.

The M16 will be replaced with more modern platforms that is certain fact as weapons always get replaced by better platforms that is an historical fact.

This is without doubt NOT the best weapon around now, as it has its flaws as do all weapons.

The AK (47) was reliable but was draged down by lack of range 250 or so meaters that the bullet was flying to slow and it had quite abit of reoil. but M16/M4 and all other 5,56(223 rem) have a flaw of not so much stopping power and penetration. In my eyes the best combat weapons are the Battlerifles (G3, FNFAL, Galil and M14) that can be short and have good range, accuracy and power. but ofc its just me

It looks pretty nice, but accuracy and compactness are not everything in a war with many different environments. Maybe stopping power should be considered since this gun fires a 5.56mm (or .223 cal) bullet. There have been hit with that round in their center of mass and lived to see another day because the round can't cause as much tissue damage as a 7.62mm round would (but I would undoubtedly choose the gun in this video for combat over an AK-47 because of the advantage of accuracy in fully au

The bull pup design has been the future ever since the styr aug back in the 70's it is just that the steyr came out at the wrong time and was thought of to futureistic of a gun when it came out. I am just glad that Bullpups have made a resergence since more and more battles are cqc and needing something that can reach out at distacne but can also be good close up. Btw: the ak is one of the most reliable rifles in the world, your lack of accuracy is because it has recoil. But in most combat situations, youre not to far away from your enemy, so you have enough accuracy at that range. So learn your guns, grammar etc... and then make an comment
