@JesMarie0087 It's true that they got married in 2000 and are now divorced, but they first met each other in 1991 when she was a model at Bordeaux Model Agency and he was a driver for this agency. He drove her to her appointments and back, had a kind-of-friends-relationship...later he invited her to come with him on the stp european tour in 1993 and that's when they started their romance.
This was a very good book. I'm glad I bought and read it. It inspires hope when someone is able to achieve sobriety after so many relapses. I'm also happy you found the right combination of meds for bipolar disorder. Best of luck for a sober and happy future! :)
All of the best Rockstars have had drug issues. Layne Staley was the best of his time, with solid competition. Scott has put on many disappointing shows due to drugs, but at least he's still here with us. It's a shame I saw him sober with VR, and he was AMAZING!

I thought it was interesting to read their (Scott & Mary) side of the story because in a lot of interviews, you would hear Dean & Rob say that Scott was gone for days, no one knew where he was. Well the book tells you all about those times and what he was doing. Its true though how it says that everyone always thought Scott was the crazy one- then you read her book & WOW.

She never got to see the 'what could have happened.
Well, as everyone knows by now, we are getting divorced and yes, Mary is writing a book which I have not read. But what I want everyone to know that it has nothing to do with infidelity. Neither the divorce nor the book. Please don't place the red letter upon my children's mother.
One last thing... My love for her will never end. We just forgot how to be friends. She has now chosen a public career and one that brings both accolades and public scrutiny. There will be more of this sort of thing to deal with as time goes by... both good and bad.
