Well I got it for PS3, and the graphics and performance is excellent. Plus, there are a tiny few pc related bugs the ps3 doesn't have. On the other hand, if you get it for the PC, you can have endless fun screwing around with the editor once you're done with the game. But, I bought it the day it came out in the UK and I still aint done with it :)

What I also forgot to mention was with the PC you can unpack files that were cut from the game and add them to the game. The Mirelurk bait grenade is one such example.

dude im good in this game but if people want to mess with me its a shotgun shell in the face for them. i love this game oblivion was so good and this is amazing too its just the landscape. i like the forests and wildlife in oblivion better than the wasteland and friggin giant fire spewing ants and super mutants

Over the weekend, i was pondering whether to buy Oblivion or Fallout 3. Since they were both made by Bathesda and had great reviews, i decided that i'd ultimately own both anyway. I found Oblivion for 30 dollars, so i bought it, saving the much more expensive Fallout 3 for a later date. Anyway, i played it about 4 hours total so far and am not impressed. Here are my questions:

1. Did i make a mistake in my purchase?

2. Does Oblivion get better with time?

3. Is Fallout 3 much better?

1. Hell no, when I firstly bought Oblivion , I was like : WTF , What do I need to do?

In time I learned myself all tricks and tips.

2. Defintly, I reccomend you to kill just someone (just a citicen), You will get the dark brotherhood quests ,those where defintly my favourites.

3. No, that's a matter of taste. Ofcourse Fallout 3 is much further in technology, and Bethseda learned form their mistakes in Oblivion.

Again, it's a matter of taste, both the same 'style game' -> a FPS-RPG.

While I have yet to play Fallout 3 Oblivion worked differently for me, I loved it for the first hour then it died for me. I am now curious about Fallout, but I just hope it doesnt have the same effect as Oblivion.
