This last season was so disturbing. It was a constant; "how could anyone endure so much upheaval at the same time?" it left me overwhelmed each episode and it's not real! Wow, i've never been this involved with fictional characters.

I read somewhere that season 5 won't be so jam-packed... I hope that's true, season 4 was good, but it lacked the soul that 2 and 3 had. I miss the more comic moments too, I re-watched season 2 and it had some amazing comedy scenes.

I almost feel that this season had to much in it! I never thought that could happen, usually shows run out of ideas for plots, but they could have made 2 seasons out of season 4. I really can't wait for season five! I mean alot can happen! If i was an actress I would love to work on show like this!!! always something new and deep happening with each character!! love love love!

it really does! my heart has grown for nicki. she can be ruthless and selfish but underneath that, she's good. now i just have to wait like a year for season 4 to be on dvd. oh joy. lol. i guess i will get started on The United States of Tara.

I am sooo disappointed that the writers of Big Love had to make their racist views (or those of Mormons) towards blacks known. I'm talking about a scene in season 4 episode 3 where nikki's boys, margene and cathy's sister are all watch an old time t.v. program depicting white people in black face. The way they're just looking at it for entertainment and not even commenting on it let me know how they all feel.

This show is astoundingly good. Sure, it errs in occasional matters of detail, but on the whole it actually does a better job of closely dramatizing its subject matter than 'Law & Order" does with its "ripped-from-the-headlines" schtick.
