    This is a species of Anthribidae, related to the true weevils.

    This might be Platyrhinus resinosus.

  • This looks really interesting. It's head is reminicent of the Tiger beetles and with those jaws and eyes it's definitely a hunter. The best place to get an ID is the Natural History Museums Bug Forum. It has never let me down yet.

  • My fist instinct was one of the weevil type beetles but as to species no idea
