  • Oh, is THAT how you pronounce Keyes? I thought it was pronounced "shit-ty".

  • @tiyenin you can't blame him for not being able to compare with scott lenord; he's just out of this world good.

  • OMG! I love these songs now! Awesome!

  • You don't see enough of Eliot's solos.... and that jazz bass solo Barry does? Phwoar!

  • 2:11-- Sounds like Rockapella's fanfare from WITWICS!

  • Rockapella members and what they grew up on, as Elliott said:

    Sean Altman: Easy-listening

    Steve Keyes: Heavy metal

    Barry Carl: "Steroids"

    Elliott Kerman: Jazz

  • You have to also remember the recording technology is different than it is now.

  • Wow! I've been a fan of Rockapella for YEARS & YEARS never knew that Steve's last name is pronounced like that! I always thought it was like Keys. lol! I guess I've never heard them say his last name before. Oy! It's hard to accept any other voice on this song that's not Scott's.

haha! It always cracks me up when people pronounce it "LouEEville" instead of kind of like Louehvul" haha! hard to spell.

And I never knew that they did the Long Cool Woman intro back then! Where was I back then?!

  • Oh DAMN! Live performance versions of Just You Just Me AND Long Cool Woman I've never heard before? This is certainly a good day.

  • Isn't the song at the 4:30 mark the "final round" song in Carmen Sandiego? Awesome!

  • Barry had a pony tail!!

  • Scott is a much better singer than Steve. He has more vocal power than steve does.

  • Having listening to the limited audio recordings of him that are available (read: Youtube), I think Steve makes use of his head voice more. Scott (esp. in earlier years) insists/ed on combining full chest voice with his indisputably impressive high range, making his characteristic tone far harder to mimic.

  • I'm not much of a fan of Steve's sound, but I have to admit he's gotten better at owning his sound. Check out watch?v=0S9LrTBU1Rs to see what I mean.

  • well der hes better than msot singers

  • Steve is amazing as a high tenor, in this video though, I don't know, he is all over the place.

  • Let's just say I am so glad they have Scott as the high tenor! Wow! Steve Keyes has nothing on Scott!
