you know, when I see flat screen plazma tv's in the court buildings that only display a number in line, harley davidson police vehicles for show and swat tanks, I just have to wonder, how many people could have eaten or been clothed with my tax money instead of silly psychological games of vanity and fear. Here's a concept I've been trying to push for a while... equip all CVPIs and/or SWAT vehicles with 360* Electro Optical E/OIR sensor turrets. Costs of such systems have actually come down despite advancements in E/O-FLIR technology, this has got to be the next logical step for a cutting edge 21st century law enforcement agency!
