your throttle trim is too high on controler possibly or the the throttle on the car is too high

@SuperAlexisbest Your throttle is far too open. Remove the intake and look inside the carb. It should be 1-2mm open MAX. Anything more than 2MM will send your car flying as soon as you start it up.

@flyboyjuelz As long as you have fuel and a glow plug ignitor, you should be good. The starter kit comes with the fuel bottle, tools, and the glow plug ignitor. It comes in handy.

hey ali, for this setup how would you prime the motor without flooding it? it looks like that motor overturns very quickly and might flood the engine if you prime it?

@productionvideos27 Prime it a couple of turns only. As soon as you see the fuel flowing through the fuel lines and you don't see any bubbles, you should be good. A roto starter takes the headache of the pull start away. It is MUCH easier to flood the engine with the pull start.

@steamfan2011 Pull starts are filth mate. If you're going to replace the EZ Start, get an HG Yank Eliminator, a bump start box or a power start similar to the one in this video. I have a pull start on my Great Vigor Subaru Impreza V2 and it's awful. Bump start box is definitely the way to go.

hey ali i wonder if u can just explain what to do if your engine is flooded but on the rc iv got installed this power start. i mean how will i know if the engine is flooded?? the power start will just keep spinning, unlike the pull starter, it becomes very hard to pull or the string comes all the way out without coiling back in again. if i just let it spin, it will destroy/damage the engine rite...... wot to do?

@iamthepolice no way knowing if engine is flooded with power starter. so you have to be very careful with it. cuz if engine is flooded and you keep cranking it with power starter you can damage the engine

My 4 wheel drive mgt 4.60 se has this little knob right where the pull string I and it has a special Alan wrench sorta rod and it fits right in there and you use a regular drill an it starts right up :). But I'm wondering if it would be bad to take the pull starter cord off completely but keep the box from where it was on there to keep it protected from any flying rocks

normally you need to have the right size backing plate for your engine depending on engine cc and size. Backing plates do come with one way bearing.

Hey Ali you know when you start a rc buggie up when i use the power starter the buggie and i prime it right with a fulley charge glo starter and the right glo plug even should a brand new nitro buggie should start up that easy when it with a power starter even though thats new
