I think skunk fest would be a lot less confusing to people who have no idea what the FSP is and what the mascot is. Whenever you tell someone about porcfest, they will probably think it's a pork fest, where there's all sorts of different people selling pork products. they'd probably think a skunk fest is a pot fest, which is a bit closer to porcfest. not quite, but closer.

If free staters are so concerned about freedom, why don't they help people of countries that aren't free? Why do only some people deserve freedom? What would Snowball say?
do you want an anti-state or do you want a free state? I myself am in favor of a small government free state that is capable of protecting my liberties when im busy with other things. I dont want an anarchist state where I have to guard my property with full arms at all times.
and I dont take kindly to makin fun of Texas. As a South Carolinian messin with Texas or Georgia is like pickin on my lil brother.
police do a good job here in Calhoun County, SC. they dont even have a jail so they can do real police work rather than tryin to fill their jail with nonviolent offenders. and they pass the savings on to me. its not like most other places. neighbboring Lexington County is a whole diffrent world. My car taxes are $36 there compared to $8 here.
Well, alright what is a good job in terms of % of buglaries caught in progress, stolen goods returned, and repeat offenders? How does it compare to the state average?
@803honda it's not an anarchist state if you have to guard your property with full arms at all time. if that were the case, not very many people are espousing the ideals of anarchism. however, with the state in full effect, you CANT protect your liberties and properties or you will most likely be injured killed or caged by agents of the state. As long as there's a tax, your property is not being protected. How can someone claim to protect you and steal from you at the same time?!
this was great - glad it got youtubed! I think the Sorens did an excellent job putting this piece together, as well as delivering it. Thanks, Ridley, for capturing the moments I can't be there in person for! (great job on the 420 events, too!)
we moved here in March of last year from Cape Cod, Massachusetts - best move of our lives. :) You won't regret it, and you'll have an instant 700+ network that is already here.

When moving a mountian, it's far easier to cut it into chunks and move it one section at a time.

A free state is an oxymoron.
Just as a reality check. For what % of buglaries to police in your area actually stop or solve?
Google this phrase for further brain stimulation. "the benefits of privatized crime control Bruce L. Benson"

I "got" it and I'm in Ohio.
I thought the Sorens were very funny.
But then again, I have a functioning brain.
I just have one question.
Why isn't p00lman here complaining?
Oh wait, he is but under his other log-in ID.
Never mind.

This might surprise you, but some people actually have to work and don't have all the time in the world to protest for selfish petty reasons.
