Well son of a gun, that's an MT250. I have not seen one of those in years. My brother had one way back and I thought it was the best of the Elsinores. It had more low end power than the CR250 and was much more ridable in the woods and trails. Great bike.
I doubt its got more power than a CR250 of the same vintage any where in the power band,It was a good trail bike for the day,but dont confuse that with being a race bike.
@NAMTRIP I don't think he meant more power. I think he meant more low end torque, which would make it easier to ride trails with. Any 2 stroke racing bike from any year, of the same eng size is going to have more power. That's why they race 450 4 strokes with 250 2 strokes now-a-days. Yeah it's definatly not a racing bike. But still a great vintage bike with plenty of power.
Hey bbarc. i like this bike to. i might have sold it to you. i was in richton park, IL at the time.while veiwing this video i noticed the AMA sticker that i put on after the restoration. please let me know.
Freaking Sweet! I was going to buy its cousing that came out around the same time. It was a multipurpose bike and I could have got it for 250.00! I would have proudly restored it, but someone beat me to it! Nice bike man!
this is a 1975 in 74 they still had the green tank

@SDGRibanez23 Right on. I had me one of them. A rock solid bike with a jet needle smaller made for a crisper response.
