  • August 08, 2011 filed court document. Corral Club, Inc. (Petitioner)

vs. Calvin Harris and Madelyn Harris, Kalvin Guyton (Respondents). Corral Club, Inc. represented by Bruce C. Gaible, State Bar No. 07567400; Brianne Watkins, State Bar No. 24056500; Hays, McConn, Rice, & Pickering, 1233 West Loop South, Suite 1000, Houston, Texas 77027, Telephone: 713-654-1111, Facsimile: 713-650-0027, email: bgaible@haysmcconn; email: bwatkins@haysmcconn.

  • HLS&R indirectly says we are not responsible since Corral Club is incorporated. Corral Club indirectly says they are not responsible since they can not tell HLS&R committee people what to do. Since Corral Club does not have committees, HLS&R does. HLS&R and Corral Club want their bullshit and eat it too. I guess HP and HC deputy sheriffs responsible for not making patron leave bar at closing time. Indirectly, the charities are blaming law enforcement personnel and the committee people.

  • Harris vs. Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, Inc. and Corral Club, Inc. --- web address for HLS&R and Corral Club fighting against common sense and decency --- supreme.courts.state.tx.us/ebriefs//11/11028605.pdf --- This is what Gov. Rick Perry was talking about when he pushed for tort reform. Corral Club, Inc. should pay the plaintiffs' costs. Legal, but unethical and a waste of court time. Corral Club, Inc.should settle out of court if it has money. is CC money sent to HLS&R eventually?

  • Corral Club committee people did not require co-defendant to leave Reliant when bar closed. CC allowed him to stay at the Corral Club and drink alcohol. HLS&R said ".......the plaintiff MUST show Corral Club has both right to assign HLS&R volunteers tasks and right to control means and details by which the agent will accomplish the task.” What that means is if you (committee person) are sued, HLS&R will not assume responsibility and neither will Corral Club, Inc. In other words, you are f*****.

  • HLS&R inorporated Cotrral Club, Inc. to protect HLS&R assets when sued for alcohol-related accidents. Corral Club lost at TX supreme court. Corral Club responded that alcohol not provided by them even though members serving alcohjol were committee members and in a Corral Club. SUMMARY OF THE ARGUMENT: Corral Club (really HLS&R attorneys) admit "co-defendant was served alcohol by HLR&S (by and through its volunteers) in its capacity as a social host."
