Hey, I have a theory about player here. I was doing wi-fi racing on mario kart 7 and guess what name I saw? Player. Player had what seemed to be infinite mushrooms (since they're way more useful in mario kart 7) and the occasional bomb in 2nd/1st. Now here's the theory: Player is in all wi-fi mario kart games. PLayer is actually a huge challenge sent by Nintendo, and beating him/her is a great honor. Yes that's right. I believe Nintendo has sent player as a challenge. Good Luck!

I once encountered a hacker in a race and got first place when he started using bombs and starpowers at the finish line and I ran at full speed through it WITHOUT getting blown up. Probably the best epic moment I experienced in the game!

I also notice there is a hack for drifting boosts. Some get it with little drift.  I have to take wide sharp corners to get mine. In this video he gets drift boosts in a turn of a hat.

I encountered a hacker on Rainbow Road. The stupid ass hacker threw his blue shells at me as soon as I was making my way to the finish line, and passing him. He got first place. >:l But one time I was playing N64 Mario Raceway, there was a hacker, but was barely hacking at all. The only difference was she had 11110 VR, and I met a hacker on DS Yoshi Falls, he was just hacking for fun, I got first place even when he caused me to fall. I was playing with 8 people, the hacker got 7th.
