My Dad was Chancellor in Iolanthe last week and a daft dance that they was the best bit of the show (including some interesting lifts).

I'm about to do Mountararat and I'm dreading the dance. Oh well. i just hope the director makes it as silly as this!

This version is far better than the iolanthe we did last year.

they dont make any sense to the lyrics, but that's G and S for ya. I just finished playing Tolloller in this show, and i gotta tell ya, we did not dance like that lol.

Iolanthe was the very first operetta I was in. :) I was only in the chorus, but it was so much fun...I adore G&S!
