  • wow, from the sound in the video the trigger reset appears to be almost as loud as the the round going off

  • nice...

  • Excellent video, shows exactly what I want to see without retarded commentary and wasted time. Keep up the awesome work, you're an asset to humanity.

  • Dude it not semi auto... That sucks there's no fun to it

  • @jtaghero -i usually only use them on people that say my video sucks lol

  • A good straightforward comparison video. Thanks.

  • extreme shocks ammo is 110grain and coated in a special chem that coats the bore and after 5-10 shots they'll be subsonic. still hear about problems though

  • i have a question, how are you making the rifle not auto cycle when you fire?, is it something to do with turning of the gas block?

  • @DJGQINHURST Subsonic ammunition generally is not powerful enough to cycle the action in .223 or 5.56. On my rifle I have an Adams Arms piston system so I turn the gas off to reduce fouling since it doesnt cycle anyway.

  • ...or buy a piston system(highly reccommended) that has diff gas settings

  • To make the bolt cycle with the sub-sonic ammo, you would need to get a weaker buffer tube spring, correct?

  • @samtaekwondo123 Most Subsonic ammo will not cycle standard ARs. I think a weaker spring and light buffer may help but I havent tried it. I know Extreme Shock made some ammo that supposedly cycles the action, but I heard it is not good quality and picky on firearms. If you want the action to cycle, get a 7.62(.30 Cal) suppressor and a build a .300 AAC Blackout.

  • do you know of any loads for 69gr or 77gr SMKs? subsonic loads I mean

  • @labartic did 75gr BTHP with 4.5 gr of Unique Powder. 1025 fps. 2.260 OAL. Dont know of any for the 69s and 77s. Should be pretty much the same for the 77 and 75. Of course I take no responsibility for your reloads.

  • what if you shot a subsonic round without a silencer?

  • @thundersaver If you shoot a subsonic round without a silencer it sounds like a slightly less powerful, normal cartridge going off.

  • @thundersaver It still doesn't cycle

  • did you shoot your load...hehe...through a chronograph while testing?

  • yes...my load shoots at 975fps

  • @sovereignind yes my load shoots at 975fps

  • handload- 60 grain hornady v-max bullet, 3.5grains of unique pistol powder, 7.5 small rifle primer....(obviously i take no responsibitlity for your weapon or safety)

  • what sub sonic ammo are you shooting and where did you get it I am having a hard time finding any

  • @sovereignind It is hand loaded.

  • the ammo and the video was made less than a week ago...idk ur question

  • when did you make this?
