I use to be scared playing this course when I was a kid, not because it's hard, but because of the thunder and lighting effects. But i'm not afraid of it anymore ;)

I agree. Same with "Checkpoint". So this isn't Amiga version, because there was a lector.

It's played on a 512KB only Amiga 500, hence the lack of sound effects.

The Storm stage in LOTUS 2 is much easier than in LOTUS 1. It was impossible to finish the storm in LOTUS 1 with some many crashes and hits like in this video. Althoug those games are difficult .

this must have taken lot's of practise to beat THIS course! This took me 5 attemps to beat. And guess what, if you start off the start line and drive skillfully without hitting anything or slowing down, you'll have 01 as your digit before you reach the checkpoint. It is possible to do this, you need to be a great driver and controller to get that!

i played this game 10 years ago and never seen the end of this course. i was always failing after the last checkpoint.

Inspiration from arcade Outrun series, awesome then, sounds improved: voice for rain, 1 for car, 1 for thunder. But Amiga's output, two voices for left, two for right-- more immersive, I would have a stereo rain sample taking two sounds (left, right) and then for the thunder, stereo sample of thunder AND rain (blend). That way you can use only two voices to still achieve a stereo sound (which in 'Amiga stereo' would normally take 4 voices, eliminating the engine sound).
