  • what kind of engine? also how much horse power does it have?

  • Mighty smooth mi amego

  • Did u build this yourself?

  • Not too bad actually! It seemed pretty stable in the hover and had a very smooth transition into forward flight. Keep on keeping on!

  • What design is that?

  • @a1graymatter Looks a lot like a Mosquito AIR.

  • I want one! Whats the sticker price?

  • i wonder...

  • What?

  • ahhh yesss....i wonder lol

  • Cool! Sounds like a 2:1 reduction Rotax engine

  • do you have to have license to fly these?

  • Nope, it's an ultralight, so no license is required but you'd be nuts not to get adequate training before trying to fly one.

  • sikorsky didn't have any training

  • Okay, build yourself one and let me hold your wallet when you teach yourself to fly it.

  • aw comeon man, you know i had to be joking. how many non-aviation folks even know who sikorsky is, much less that he actually flew some of the prototypes.

  • @Helipilot2001 okay.

  • But Egor tethered his helicopter, the VS-300 with weights to prevent crashing while he was learning they dynamics of flying a helicopter. Otherwise, he probably would have suffered a Dynamic Rollover the first time he tried to fly the VS-300 or he may have crashed while trying to settle with power or crashed while trying to hover while in ground effect. He was actually a pretty smart guy.

  • hehehe cool
