@ Atticwalk - very lucky! Best band in the known Universe. Aside from maybe 3 tours, I saw them every time they came. I miss them and especially Mary... The old stuff is my favorite also! Back in '94 my brother talked to this guy from England, he told him I listened to Stereolab -- and the bloke was so jazzed he sent me a tape when he went back home of this song and all the early singles (all orig., before the Ectoplasm re-release!) Heaven... Thanks for posting!
I am one of the 1306 lucky people to own one of the orginal 7" vinyl singles (1306 being the number of copies made) of this song. It was the first one I heard of this not-to-be-overrated band, and it is still one of my favourites. Although I purchased all their regular releases in the last 18 or 19 years (and I am a very happy customer) I still like the early years best...
My fave of theirs. They had many songs in this style, but this was the first and the one I keep coming back to. Superelectric was similar, but had less complexity going on buried in the drone compared to this and later songs. Jenny O might be objectively better, but is too long.

Thank you for posting! Do you have Eloge D'eros? It use to be on here and then it was deleted.
