    This was made for WinXP and using VS2005.

  • how did you get the map to go on screen? it reminds me of forsaken XD the n64 game lol

  • The maps done by only rendering the exends of the level walls, dots are done by getting the position of the various objects in the level.

    All this is rendered after everything else is done, and with a different camera matrix.

  • I learned this in Hull University doing the MSc. Games Programming.

  • If I made that advanced i would have used shaders. This is all fixed function no shaders I had no choice in the beginning OpenGL was all setup for me. If I would have done DX, which i should have looking back at this, I would have used shaders more easily. DX8.1 is dead I would have used DX9.0c

  • Its a Msc project read the description. You have to remember this was done in 10 weeks and from scratch.
