Note the construction at Crow Hill and Shaffers Crossing. Apparently, this has been part of the long-term 4-lane project along US 285 between Bailey and Conifer. According to CDOT, more than a handful of exit ramps have been planned. Crow Hill has been completed as of Sep 2010. Shaffers Crossing is currently under revision, and Pine Jct is supposed to be next.
