I knew that. Actually looking on Canon's website there latest camcorder like this one, is the FS22 this whole product-line is SD (standard definition).
The VIXIA product-line is the HD camcorder.
This camera is at least a cheap, upgrade for me after 4 years, with mini-dv. Plus this camera is cheap enough so I could buy another camera HD and still only spend under $,000
Thanks for comment, the quality sucks but I think it was the encoding process. I work on better encoding.
The pic quality is still quite good, even though it isn't HD. This cam is good for people wanting to make decent quality home movies without spending too much
Does it have a light and can it be used as a Webcam?

It does have a light read the manual on how to turn it on.

you do know that this model is not HD. Why not go with a HD camcorder not that expensive. PEACE cool vid.
