I remeber when all Spain was surprised when sir BOBBY ROBSON KISSING the spanish artist CARMEN SEVILLA. Search this video in Youtube BOBBY ROBSON KISSING CARMEN SEVILLA
Lovely tribute to a lovely man, that was universally loved and respected everywhere he went. Never heard ANYONE say a bad word about him. Well, apart from the gutter scumbag press that we have in this country, that hounded him out of the England job. Oh and that dreadful man Shepherd at Newcastle. Still, it's best to concentrate on the man himself. He's one of the very very few sportsmen I consider a hero.
That's what i loved about Bobby Robson even though his team would lose he would always say the better team won unlike Ferguson man i proper miss him massive loss to football when he went.
RIP Sir Bobby Robson! He was a very important manager for my team Sporting, having helped rise players like Figo, and managers like Mourinho to be one of the greatest. I still remember him at our stadium back in the early 90's when I was just a kid. ;(
We are days away from the first anniversary of Sir Bobbys death...I watched the documentary on ITV the other night about Italia '90, it is absolutely devstating watching it, knowing how close we were to winning the World Cup back then, and to watch the sack of s**** playing today, the 1990 team had true team spirit that only Fabios team could dream about
Sir Bobby Robson is the greatest. Its so sad to see him so disappointed in that 1990 semi final. Just look at how much he feels for it. I hope England wins the World Cup for him. RIP Sir Bobby. You are the best. :)
I went to St James' Park the day after he died, I had a Sunderland shirt on, this big fella looked at me, saw my shirt, and I started to walk away with my head down, he come over to me and said something like 'Divvent be daft, your more than welcome today', I laid an England shirt for Sir Bob and me and my friend stood talking for a good half hour, talking about Sir Bobby, as I said my goodbyes he turned round and said to 'Divvent worry son, there's nee rivalries today' that was a class act
@REDnWHITEarmyFTM that sounds wrong, no offence intended, what I mean was because i am naturally shy around strangers, and I hate confrontation, at first I felt unwelcome, until the guy spoke to me, so before people start hating on me, then I am sorry, if I've put it across disrespectfully, not what I intended to do, Bobby Robson is one of my idols, my all time heroes because of his connections to County Durham, I'm sure if the shoe was on the other foot, sum Newcastle fans might feel the same
sir bobby was a great no doubt but what i meant was you should'nt of put your head down when you saw that geordie lad...... you should of waited until no one was around then lamp him one lol no only joking hehe
@MistaFozz The Sunderland fans at Celtic were superb. Sir Bobby Robson would have loved to see that. he did so much for Newcastle United, getting us into the Champions League and nearly winning the title in 2002 when we lead the table twice. Sacking him was our biggest mistake and I am ashamed of Shepherd that it happened.
@newcastlemad1984 you're damn right. Sir Bobby should've never been sacked. that day i was ashamed of my own club! He did so much for us and then they sacked him. absolutely a disgrace!
@MistaFozz He is sorely missed at NUFC. He was a legend and I hope we name a stand after him like Ipswich have done. It was a great tribute you paid. Thank you.
what a guy, the term legend is banded about far too often, but it doesn't go close to this guy, Bobby Robson, a gent, a true football man and a LEGEND!!
I was at the England v German charity match for the Bobby Robson Foundation at St James.....we shed a tear when the pushed Sir Bobby on to the pitch in his chair as th crowd went mental...im pleased he was tere coz there were loads of rumors that he was to ill to attend...a few days later Sir Bobby passed away....
True Legend always at st james' even after what there did to him. He will never be forgotten he might be out of site but he will never be out of mind RIP wor Bobby
I am Benfica fan,Bobby was the coach of my 2 biggest rivals,Sporting and Porto...but I have so much respect for him, after José Mourinho he is the my favourite coach of all time....
descanse en paz Bobby, in Barcelona the people much you want, when he was coach of Barca won a RECOPE Cup and Spanish Super Cup, thanks Sir Bobby!!! barça supporters remember you forever!!!
A truley inspirational man, and as a NUFC fan, our god. His charity will go on to help many more people fufill their life as much as he did. RIP, never forgotten.
You never get legends kinda like this in football anymore.
