Not as great as the first fight but Holyfield fought smarter, staying on the outside, never getting hurt, and letting the overweight Bowe tire after 4 rounds. It was all even after 11, but Bowe came back to win the 12th, with Holyfield now tired. The more decisive rounds go to Holyfield (5, 6 and 8), but they were not dominant rounds. Overall, I have it 6-5-1 Bowe, with Bowe winning 1-4,7 and 12, Holyfield winning 5,6,8,10,11, and 9 was a draw. 115-114 Bowe on the 10-point-must system.

Classic fight this one, although both these guys were overated in my opinion.

Lennox Lewis and Mike Tyson in their prime were the true kings of their generation.

Riddick Bowe was perfect prey for Lennox Lewis, and Lewis would have KO'd Bowe within 6 rounds - thats why Bowe ducked him.

Tyson was well passed his best when he lost to Holy, and Holy used serious headbutting tactics in both his fights against Tyson and Lewis.

Lewis still clearly dominated Holy in both fights.

Yeah right, 'Holy is the man'. Thats why he got easily beaton by Chicken Licken Bowe in 1992 and TKO'd by him 1996. Michael Moorer in 1994 and he was outboxed twice by Lennox Lewis in 1999.

He cheated against Tyson by constantly using the 'Holy Head Butt', which he tried and failed to use effectively against Lewis.

Holy's best wins as a heavyweight were against Fat jelly bellies George 'Full Fat Milk' Foreman and Buster 'Fry's Burgers' Douglas.

Tyson lost his temper,not from fear of being beat,but because of holyfields tactics.Everytime in the 3rd round when tyson nailed holyfield,holyfield countered with low blows and butts.I mean its a fight,THEY'RE tying to part each others hair with each punch,NOT US.The theory tyson wanted out of the fight in fear of losing,is destroyed by simply WATCHING the 3rd round.Why would a guy try to get out of a fight to save himself a beating,when HE'S giving the beating?!Never understood that one.

Fight 1 was epic but Bowe clearly won it 9-3 imo but Holy came back and put on a great display here.

Fight 3 was good but Bowe had slipped alarmingly and Holy was gassed after 2 rounds and the result isn't a true indication of either fighters class.

I just want to say when I watched this back in the day I had Holyfield winning by 2-3 rounds

Bowe did a lot of cuffing behind the head Holyfield threw the crisper punches all night. I also thought Bowe was pretty lucky to get the 20 min break in the seventh because Holyfield was starting to take over & had Bowe rocking at the end of the 6th & bowe was starting to really puff. When Holyfield was coming on strong. Great fight though Holyfield a true Warrior.

Close fight, one of my favorite ever, Evander got fouled badly in the twelfth, that's why he fired that overhand left after the bell, hard rabbit punches and low blows from Bowe in that round
