I'm from the UK, and love music ... Home DJ, and it is a very important part of my life. but still not sure whether to pay £200 GBP for an Ipod dock ... they seem to be low wattage, even if it is a bose.

What would you say about it?

The Bose one is not real loud, but it sounds really good. I would get some large stereo speakers, and connect your iPod via RCA.

2 X 100w = 200w RMS

and have connected it up before, doesn't sound great, but I guess it's probably down to the position of the speakers.

Hey this SoundDock isn't the second generation, as the second has a front grille which curves round the edges at the front, and has a different remote, which is taller and thinner. You have the first generation, i know this because i had one :) and upgraded to the portable. Good review though, the sound quality is amazing like you say! 5*

hi...how much was the bose headphones? also i have a crappy docking station and my 120 gb i pod skips tracks..any idea why this happens and does it happen with the bose before i buy 1? im a bose lover too.. thanks

The Bose Headphones were about 100 dollars. It sounds like it would be your iPod skipping tracks, not so much the dock. It could be the dock though, but I doubt it. What kind of dock is it? You could try your iPod in a different dock, at a store or a friends house. Good luck!
