okayn I'm gonna point out some things why GGuerra won...

-he is fun to watch playing guitar. yes some people might a little bit better than he is, though GGuerra is one of the greats, but they are just standing there doing nothing but picking some notes in a musical way, and do it for about 5 minutes.

-you can listen to him all the time and never get tired of him. this lacks with other players, where its fun to listen for like 1 minute, then it gets boring.

@99jdee I've listened to it a few more times and I'm beginning to see why it won, but I'm not sold. Musically, I thought that Fernando's entry is still far better. I think I have realised why this entry won (I'm guessing Fernando's entry must have still done well). Gustavo made this look so effortless and looked the part, whereas Fernando looks like he has been sat practising for very long periods and didn't make it as look effortless as this one. Take nothing away from Gus, still a great track.

@Sohrab544 It's not judged just by the musicality, it's performance, uniqueness, constructiveness, execution of technique, and overall presence. Gustavo is known for his great stage performance (which is key to having good shows), his superior technique, and his grasp on melody and composition is above any other entry here. Fernando had no stage performance and just isn't as good live as Gustavo is. It's about enjoying music as much as it is about respecting it.

I think Gustavo and many others are amazing players. This is why I hate competitions,you read some of the comments and they are just absolutely ridiculous. A bunch of dudes that sit at home and do basically nothing come out here and start telling people that,"Oh this guy is just ok,he is a rip off" etc etc. News Flash to have such precise technique and phrasing is a challenge. It's easy to sit at home and criticize make up something like this and once you do remain humble. Stop bashing.
