Has the creativity of the composers who existed at the dawn of piano died? The genius of Bach has not reappeared. Do we need a new instrument in order to bypass the modern oligarchy of music academia?

And this applies to performing artists as well as composers. Even as a pianist, Gould was panned early in his career. He made it because of his extraordinary gifts and because he was related to Grieg.

The highest concentration. That is the essence of Gould's genius. Most other Bach interpreters fail to maintain anything close to his level of intensity.
