@ladynikkie It was the music industry which undermined true soul and R&B. The Telecommunications Act destroyed "true" community radio. When major labels started closing R&B/Soul departments and brought in other forms of music, it left a lot of people in the cold. I miss the bands but in todays world of greed, its easier to Pro Tool a performance and put autotune on a singers voice.

@ladynikkie It was the music industry which undermined true soul and R&B. The Telecommunications Act destroyed "true" community radio. When major labels started closing R&B/Soul departments and brought in other forms of music, it left a lot of people in the cold. I miss the bands but in todays world of greed, its easier to Pro Tool a performance and put autotune on a singers voice.

@ethurst2 . Yes you're absolutly right. It is a shame that the real R&B/Soul music fading fast. I'm an emerging R&B artist and although I'm not yet known or discovered. I'm determined to bring back 80's R&B music
