  • what are your drawbar settingd from about 1:45 to 2:33?

  • @bwjohnson89 drawbar setting used were 868806336

  • how do you run down with your left hand cause i practice that but i cant seem to build alot of speed

  • @xTJProduction1000x You have to practice with weighted keys like a real piano or weighted keyboard

  • Thanks for the reply. Keep up the great work!

  • Sam,

Thanks for the tips. There isn't much instructional material available for left hand bass technique on the Hammond for gospel or jazz in books or on the internet. Maybe it's time for you to write an instructional book along with the video!

Why do gospel musicians prefer the upper manual for bass? It makes sense since you can use all of the percussion settings with the upper manual. I'm surprised that most jazz musicans mainly use the lower manual for bass. Any thoughts on this. Thanks

  • every church hammond organ player started on the piano/keyboard first. I started on a Hammond C3 then piano. It's more comforatable to use the lower manual

I'll have to look at a instructional book for left hand bass...most musicians haven't learned how to seperate their thought patterns to think like a bass player yet. Most churches with a band have a bass player they would clash when playing together.

  • wow i really like your work keep it up God Bless

  • praise!!!
