If Elvis came back today at age that he died, his concerts would still sell out to this day! THAT is a fact! Still singing his old songs! This is 2012 and you guys know who he is. Anyone you listen to today will never be this famous and remembered to be this great after so many years.
on his worst day he was better than all the "entertainers" of this time period and others. the"entertainers" of today could not carry Elvis Presley's lunch.
It,s sad but true , the intence tours were there to pay the bills. Elvis was in bad shape and so he didn,t record good material. The jungle sessions where last i guess and they were so so. But after all when you see him singing songs as unchained melody, how great thou art, my way and many others you feel the pain in his voice which made it so special, so beautiful. Last concert isn,t true indeed, that was in Indianapolis in the Silverdome whiche is down now
The last years of his life were wasted in every way. The colonel kept him touring to pay his bills, all those idiots surrounding him. He made little new music, and no one could get through to him to lose the baggage and get back to making good music. The vocal groups, the horns, orchestra. Forget it. Just him, Burton, Tutt, Scheff, they could have recorded great music. He just sang all this dumb stuff, tired songs, same thing over and over, just to pay the bills, still in debt. Truly a shame.
Well, it's not really anything unless you are looking for it, but as Elvis starts to sing, it appears the microphone either shocked him slightly, or maybe was louder than he expected - but there was a twinge. Other than that, I got nothing.
Elvis was always beautiful. His voice is amazing, unusual, exciting, and his fans have always adored him. I like Elvis at all times!

And and you might notice, at the beginning when he was handed the rose, he put it in his mouth as he turned to the band before he handed it off.
