I can't believe this issue did not receive more attention in the local press. Why is so much attention paid to Las Manitas? I don't deny it's place in Austin, but compared to The Frisco Shop and The Nighthawk, Las Manitas is still very much "the new kid."
Very sad. Although, I have grown used to watching my favorite things about this city disappear over the years.
Our incompetent city council and mayor are so concerned with building high rise condos and rail systems and putting up red light cameras to help make up for the money they overspend on worthless projects they let the character of this city disappear forever.
