There's a folk tale/myth/maybe true story about how a little boy was walking along one of the walls that keeps the sea from flooding holland and he saw a leak in the wall. He stuck his finger in it and alerted the people to the hole and they fixed it. If he hadn't stuck his finger in, the wall would have broken and Holland would have been flooded. Thus...one finger to save Holland.
