sounds good i recently dynoed my" stock ls6" its .30 over 460 cid, and has very near stock cam with stock heads a edle break airgap and a 1250 holley seta hooker super comps , end results with 38 degrees total timing 579 hp / 615 ft/lbs , no bull shit , runs 10.52 in 67 firebird with a brake n th400. jet/hemi , stomper!!
used to have a 1970 chevelle malibu. love that car and el~caminos. still have the 454 all in pieces in storage straight from tech school at the time. some day some day.
not yet i'm going to start making videos as soon as it starts cooling down here in cali. i want to make some street race videos with my chevelle and burnout videos :).
@zachschevelle mine aint that fast. But I've always loved chevelles man. Nice car nice vid. I bet it loves fried rice stuck in it's grille like my truck xD
Nice nice, sounds great! I have a 70 Chevelle I bought for 2,400. I think the head gasket is blown or its a cracked head, im hopping not the block. Eithor way nice Chevelle, ill have a vid of mine up soon.
@TheGoodLordJesus lol take it easy man Do you normally get that worked up over a Youtube video? If you would have read the video comments, you would know that the engine hadn't even been running an hour. It was a brand new engine and I was still breaking it in. You can even seen the hood leaned up against the back wall.
nice chevelle how did you get it at 14? i got a 72 charger with a high performance440, i got it when i was 17, im 19 now. i traded a truck that i bought cheap, and made a strait trade for the charger
@72charger440se Thanks. I got is when I was 14 as a project car to build with my dad. It had a new drivetrain and was painted by my 16th birthday, so I drove it all through highschool. I'm still working on it now though, they're never done.
i bet you got alot of attention at school, i ended up gettin my charger two weeks after i graduated, it would have been cool if i could have gotten it alittle sooner just to drive it to school and what not, there was a kid who had a 68 mustang coupe with a 302 that was in nice shape and i wanted to take him on, but its cool im happy with my charger, i get alot of attention everywhere i go in that beast!
Nope ,I found it in an Autotrader and got it as a project car to work on with my Dad. My younger brother is doing the same thing now with a '79 Corvette.
I was wanting to install an Eaton posi in my 12 bolt for my 69 Chevelle but I wanted to ask you how it rides compared to an original 12 bolt posi. How does it take the corners and such? Thanks.
awesome car dawg i was also thinking about that same kind of cam also for my 350 chevy that i have on th engine stand at my dads house. It sounds very nice man! good job on that combination.
I just ordered this same Voodoo cam for my custom pickup that has a 327 SBC and soon to have a blower 142 and was wondering how you like the cam? I like low and mid best.
I've never ran a Edie carb, but I have friends that do. All I know about them is that they don't compare to Holleys. Given the chance I would swap my Carter for a Holley.

I plan on getting a pair of thrush 2-chamber mufflers soon. They're only $30 a piece and they make a 89 crown vic sound at least as good as this car, although I'd still rather have yours!
lol that engine had only been running about an hour at the time. If you look in the back of the garage to the right you'll see the hood against the wall.
you must be selling drugs or your dad paid for it because no teenager could afford that car with the parts that are on it. those heads alone are 1500 dollars.
dude fuck you, just cuz u dont have a nice car like that dont mean that u can go and dog somebody elses. stick to ur little ricer that bumble-bee muffler, douchebag. dont hate, appreciate
lol ur retarded. i have a 68 chevelle and i worked my cock off for it since i was 15. my point in all of this was that he didnt pay for this himself. its impossible to save that amount of money at that age. even with military pay, i couldnt afford to get my chevelle like that. u have to understand that not only is this car in show condition, but its got all top of the line parts. its "his" car. yeah right.
haha neither man, I don't know you and you don't know me, so nice try. I saved my ass off for those parts. I cut grass and washed about 35 cars and boats to get the money. It took about a years worth of me saving my money to get enough for the engine. My dad and I built the engine in the garage you see in the vid, so there's another way I saved money.
were u talking to me, or the "theginacologist" dude? cuz if u were talking to me, i wasnt doggin ur car, i was doggin that dude that said u sell drugs
excellent specs, those AFR heads are top of the line, post a vid with times if you ever run it down the trac. im planning a 406 myself =]
btw, did you drill steam holes in yours? any cooling issues? i plan on using a radiator out of a buick and dual fans, but dont know if i should do more =]
