sounds good i recently dynoed my" stock ls6" its .30 over 460 cid, and has very near stock cam with stock heads a edle break airgap and a 1250 holley seta hooker super comps , end results with 38 degrees total timing 579 hp / 615 ft/lbs , no bull shit , runs 10.52 in 67 firebird with a brake n th400. jet/hemi , stomper!!

I never ran a stock 12 bolt, I swapped the original 10 bolt out for the current one. It drives and takes corners great... really smooth.

my uncle has a chevelle that looks exactly like this one but its an actual SS. he bought it brand new when he was 16 and to this day he has it sitting in his garage, he doesnt drive it at all, but it runs and drives and there is absolutly no rust on it anywhere. i hope he gives it to me when i graduate and get my automotive/high performance associate degree in 2 years

btw, did you drill steam holes in yours? any cooling issues? i plan on using a radiator out of a buick and dual fans, but dont know if i should do more =]

Thanks, I did all of the head research I could and AFR kept coming out on top. I did have the steam holes drilled, but I didn't on my old heads (World S/R Torquers.) I didn't notice a change in the temp at all, but it's "cheap insurance" to get them drilled. It likes to run around 180*-185*, so I'm happy with my standard fan set-up.
