  • i have a question... i use max factor pan stick and it looks good but by the end of the day i end up looking pastey///?? why is that??

  • You look amazing without and with makeup. :)

  • your eyebrows are amazing!xxx

  • i m having farmasi uniclour foundation stick my skin is sensitive so that foundation suites me best can i use it in the same way

  • not very sanitary though but coverage great!

  • I just purchased the BB foundation stick this afternoon. I don't quite know why people seem to dislike this product so much! (like on makeupalley, etc.) Anyway, when the lady at the counter applied it, my skin looked flawless. I ended up buying it despite the poor overall MUA rating... can't wait to start using it. Very helpful tutorial :-)

  • What is the best way to match your skin color to a foundation?

  • lol. best way? apply it on your face and see if it matches in sunlight.

  • is the max factor stik just as good as bobby brown's or not really??/ also I wanted to make sure you mentioned that your shade is natural in bobby brown and medium beige in max factor isn't the shade selection too pinkish I was tempted to buy it because i heard it was being discontinued so i was just curious if you could let me know i'd really appreciate it.

  • do you think mac stick foundation is good??

  • I've been using Max Factor Pan Stik for years. I love it so much!! Does anyone know of a good alternative since MF is going to be discontinued in the US? I'm so sad about it too. : (

  • Kryolan is similar

  • @rutharuth i bought one of kryolan today... but dont know how to apply it...without looking cakey

  • wait, is it going to be discontinued online as well? if not, you can try that.

  • Used to use Max Factor pan stick as a young woman... thinking of going back to it after watching this vid. Thanks for the tutorial.

  • The coverage is buildable and I can use my brush, sponge or my hands. I have VERY light skin and 98% of the time, I cannot find the right color foundation for me. I have Pan Stik in NUDE IVORY, (I have blue eyes/brown hair/fair skin with pink undertones). I love the flawless finish that this product provides and when set with a nice loose powder, my skin looks amazing! =)

  • I like Stila's stick foundation, however, the price is ridiculous as is Bobbi Brown's. I agree with you, Max Factor pan stick is tremendous. Lots of pigment and creaminess for not too much $. The smell is the only drawback for me, but I get over that quickly when I see the results!

  • I notice the scent too, but to me I am just smelling the mineral oil in the makeup...kind of a powdery scent...

  • depends, theres mineral oil in max factor pan stick ?

  • Yes, mineral oil is one of the top ingredients listed. I am VERY prone to break outs and I am rather sensitive skin, but the Pan Stik has NEVER caused a break out for me! Advice to ALL: Max Factor will be discontinued in the United States in 2010, so stock up on your favorites NOW, while you can!!!

  • ok .

  • I've used the Max Factor panstick for many, many years.

It's a real good foundation with great coveridge, and it stays long good on you're face.. :0)

After this tutorial....i'm going to buy it again.

  • you are very pretty && thank you for the help!

  • Would u recomend this for dry skin??? or no?

  • i do :)

  • Where can we find the Mac Factor stick foundation?

    Thanks!

  • drugstores.

  • Hi. I see that your question only had one answer: "drugstores." I hope that this helps- You can't just find MF Pan Stik at most drugstores. I know that Walgreens offers it online, if you like shopping that way. For me, I like to purchase foundations IN PERSON. One place that you will find Pan Stik for sure is WALMART! =) It is around $7-$8 bucks and it is THE best foundation that I have EVER found.

  • i agree, your tutorials are really good :)

  • you have the best makeup tutorials i have seen yet on you tube, seriously. your attention to detail is impeccable.

  • you look like sandra bullock !!!

    so pretty :D

you helped me very well !!

    thanks

    <3

  • great video! I need to try a dang stick foundation. You look beautiful without make up!

    go girl!

    luv,

    jessie

  • what do you mainly use for a concealer?

  • Hey, you have a pleasing calm face :)

    1. I agree

    2. learn to type like a normal person XD

  • I was looking into the Max Factor stick foundation, now I know how to apply it, thanks so much, I love all your tutorials!

  • Do you know of any good foundation sticks that aren't $40 like the Bobbi Brown one?

  • i know ELF has a foundation stick but i'm not sure what the quality is like. its a dollar

  • max factor stick at cvs

  • yay im so glad someone else uses the bb foundation stick haha, i haven't seen too many videos using it, but i love mine! :)

although, sometimes i feel like it accentuates any dryness on my face, have you ever had that problem?

  • its really helps me a lot hun.

  • I love how your videos are so instructional and how you follow things step-by-step. It makes learning from you all the more easier. Please keep doing series like these....eyeshadow, lipstick....etc. You're doing a fantastic job.

  • awe you sound sick! if so hope you feel well soon. Your such a trooper to still do your promised videos. I have a foundation brush that I found I had no use for! Do you consider the ELF all over face tube a stick foundation? Do you use your foundation brush every with your liquid foundation?

  • haha fortunately I wasn't sick- i just yelled really loud at the football game! good question about the elf stick- it's really creamy so it might work as a foundation for more dry skin but I just use it to conceal sometimes. I use that particular foundation brush just for stick foundation- it can also work for cream to powder formulas. I use my stippling brush for all other liquids :)

  • your gorgeous without the makeup too :)

  • Hi Emily. Great Video. Would you mind telling us whether your skin is cool-toned or warm. This way I can tell if you colors would work for me. It looks like we have the same coloring and tone, but you really can't tell from a video. TIA!

  • will you be doing the moose foundation?

  • Thank you so much for this tutorial, its really informative. Great! :)

  • i was wonderin if i could use a stipplin brush with a stick foundation?? and how would i go about that??

  • You seriously cleared up a big mystery for me, lol :P How long would you say that bobbi brown stick lasts?

  • Looks like great coverage. You are beautiful without it, but this really is a perfect color for you. I want to try this product now as I am looking for a heavier coverage for the winter.

  • I love the Max Factor Pan stik!

  • oh my gosh you are sooo pretty! great vid

  • man, this thing wont load

  • you have beautiful skin, even without foundation in general.

  • thanks for the video. i never tried stick foundations because i thought it wouldn't give me enough coverage, but looks like i was wrong. i'd love to try that bobbi brown, but would have to order online and am not sure with the colors. lucky you that you found a good match right away.

  • yeah...I'm not the only who use max factor stick

  • I have never considered using a stick foundation because I have been using BE since 2001. But it is just so portable! Thanks for the vid!

    JoJo

  • Love your videos! U are awesome! Your voice is very soothing:) Love from Australia!

  • Maybe I could possibly try a stick foundation.

But I started using the Mineral Power after your review and I am a little worried that a stick might mess with my sensitive skin.

  • Good information...I've not used a stick foundation before...thanks for another fantastic tutorial.

  • i was always afraid to use a stick. maybe i'll try it sometime.

  • ahaha i use benefit's stick, and I draw all over my face then blend. But since I don't too much coverage, I lightly dampen my brush to kind of dilute and easily spread the foundation.

  • good tip. =) thank you.
