Thanks. These shots are tricky as you set the light for the approach, but when the train arrives alongside the sun is reflected directly into the camera at short range and it over-exposes the shot. I do not mind this as the artistic effect of the lighting, rather than the clarity of the subject is the all-important factor in these shots. It would be a boring world if we all agreed on everything!
It doesn't, however, preclude you from being an immature little twerp, from the comments I've seen here, at any rate. Shoo, please, and go and have fun somewhere else.
I had, but I now notice you still have several of my vids uncredited on your channel. I hoped that the reaction of several of the people here would show you that stealing other people's work is regarded with contempt by most decent people. I was also not impressed by your immature attitude which contrasts so sharply with the many young rail enthusiasts I hear from.
Excellent video Steamontheweb. Sorry about that person stealing your videos. It's not the first time it has happend to you either, isn't there someone from Devon stealing your videos? Anyway, beautiful shots in the winter sun, 5*
I was less concerned about the stealing of the vids (yes, stealing is what it is!)than his appalling attitude when I pointed it out to him. It does may you think twice about showing videos here.
i would just like to thank you for the vids which you put on this channel Also I really hope you do take steps to get that little fuck who stole your vids off utube....
Thanks Joshua. Having pinched my vids he subscribed to my channel and commented on a video, I will leave you to draw your own conclusions about his intelligence!
You show good taste in preferring GWR Manors. You also show good taste in showing my old Vintage Trains videos on your You Tube channel. However, it is well out of order to show them without giving credit to the owner of the material or without first asking permission. This is frowned on by most members of this community. Please either remove them or attribute them to myself.
Very nice. Locos working hard with a full rake of coaches in winter! Loved all the shots of both 7802 & 7812 and of 42968 exiting Foley Park Tunnel. Well done, 5*s!
Thank you. I was very lucky with the weather and was fortunate to be filming some of my favourite locos - exactly the one's you mention to be precise!
Thanks. After my recent endeavours on the GCR it was good to hear some good thumping exhaust beats in a highly acoustic setting. I saw your video with a nice view of Bradley manor waiting to leave: 7812 was slipping as she left Arley with the first train. There must have been some ice on the rails.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it. Having low strong sunshine makes such a difference to your results. My only complaint was that it could have been a few degrees colder!
41/2*! Didn't Quite Like the coaches in sun could barley see train. Good though!

On a more positive note, awesome backlit shot of 42968 round the curve. Very very nice.

N.B. This does not refer to the comment above, you can probably work out which it did refer to.

Don't nick peoples videos, I'm younger than you and do all mine myself!
JBTEvans in reply to 2009DM (Show the comment) 3 years ago
remove them! You are breaking the terms and cons of the site. Get a camera and film your own, I'm 13 ffs so you get a life.

Glad you enjoyed it. The Severn Valley is a magical place on a cold still winter's day.

Low life, you do superb videos, shouldn't be having them nicked!
JBTEvans in reply to steamontheweb (Show the comment) 3 years ago
Unfortunately you can't. You have infringed copyright laws and I will be taking steps.

Beautifully filmed & what a fantastic sound!
Superb weather -I was on the 10.45 ex Kidder behind 5164 (posted video from 1st coach entering Arley-sadly not up to your standard!)
Thanks so much for making these memories of a lovely day available.
