  • I found an original dmc for 5k, some of the car got on fire still works though, should I buy it?

  • Your car actually sounds decent. The other DMC12's I've heard don't sound as well. Do you have the upgraded exhaust system?

  • @ratmphan It's in England. In England you drive on the left side not the right 'cause the right side is the wrong side at England.

  • Тача из фильма "Назад в будущее"

  • nice catch with the cam on side of the car! :)

  • Time circuits on?

  • Marty Mc who...... oh yeah......... fly

  • GOD DAMN I WANT THIS CAR!

  • DeLoreans LOOK incredible. I mean it could be a supercar! (if it had a much more powerful engine...)

  • Very nice!

  • left side of the road?

  • He's driving it so tame, there is a difference between unnecessary rough hard launches and winding out a Volvo V-6 in 3rd. If you don't tach it out occasionally the oil passages will clog, oh well I guess you have to adjust the valves anyway right?

  • nonsense, many DeLoreans are driven gently don't have issues with blocked oil passages. Providing you annually change the oil and/or every 6000 miles then it will be fine. The valves do not need any adjustment, where are you getting your misinformation from?

  • 2:06, propper use of the horn invention.. by the way, do these cars have mid-mounted motors?

  • The prototype cars were mid-engined but the production cars were rear.

  • show esse video do delorian ! bela montagem !

  • the things i'd do for a delorean.... and those back to the future shoes

  • hmm sounds nothing like back to the future...... guess thats hollywood eh? lol i want a new one! i'll put a ls1 in it give her some real power!

  • American's have installed Northstar V8's, Chevy V8's etc but most of these engines are really heavy which will upset the handling. Rover/Buick V8 is very similar weight to the DeLorean engine....

  • Lol im watchin back to the future now lol

  • Why did you remove the flux compasitor ?

  • i love these cars. I don't care what the power is or the mpg, I just want to own one to drive around and show off. I think they are the coolest things.

  • nice ride mcfly lol

  • love it :)

  • how many miles to the gallon?

  • between 22-28mpg depending on local/motorway driving

  • Dear Santa...

  • Beautiful Delorean but man, the entertainment system fucks it up!!!

  • You almost went back to the year 1955 at 1:33.

  • THE TWO GREATEST CARS; DELOREAN AND 1982 TRANS AM.

  • Goals in life:

Step 1: Go to and finish college.

Step 2: Get well paying job

    Step 3: Own a 1981 DeLorean DMC-12

  • You should make a bttf delorean time machine replica

  • I wish they still made thease cars...

  • YOUR DRIVING ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE ROAD

  • when you showed the amp i thought you were going to show the flux capacitor

  • is that the orginal stock engine ... sounds kinda tuned .... waht did you do to it ?? i actually thing it sound better then stock :D nice work

  • Stock engine but with a volvo dizzy, different cpr, free flow exhaust and a few other tweaks....

  • @ChrisVonBron so does it have more power then ? you know how much HP now ?

  • Stock is 130BHP. Has now been Dyno'ed at 170BHP

  • No, it took seven years to buy it. Now owned for nine years.

  • are u selling it?

  • Dude I couldn't believe that jerk that cut you off! Nice video! I am a Delorean fan, I hope to own one of these awesome vehicles someday.

  • 2:00 what an ass! pulling out right in font of you..

  • did you now that the first deloreans had volvo engines

  • The DMCs engine is NOT a GM engine. Nor is it close. Not one part is interchangeable. IRS a PRV all aluminum OHC 90 degree Odd-fire V6.

  • COME ON!

YOU DIDNT EVEN REACH 88 MPH!

  • i see a check engine light

  • @Xbow361 No, that is the handbrake is on light

  • @ChrisVonBron hmm u saw some delorean dmc-12 s2 in 2004 bc they rebuild from old part but with increase like 140 mph when i use it in gran turismo 4 and psp.

  • GIGAWATTS

  • I COULD WATCH THIS VIDEO OVER AND OVER ..AGAIN.

  • fix that damn exhaust, it sounds like a garbage disposal

  • @cuddlymaverick well...it's the best part of the engine, this sound!

  • it's a nice car, shame that they doesn't give it enough power

  • Who else say a kicker l7

  • this is the orig delorean that was used in filming scenes in back to the future

  • Sexiest car ever.

  • Cool car. Beep Beep Beep move out of the way im going into the future.

  • This would be James Bond's car if he were from the US :P

  • did u know that DeLorean's are back in production in texas?

  • @miker481 They... they are?

  • If I had a Delorean I would drive back in time and relive the 80's over and over again.

Please god give me a Delorean so I can escape from this horrible time period!

  • Comment removed

  • they sounds like a v6 chevy engine, 2.8L or 3.1L. is that a Fiero?

  • nope, the original 2.85 V6 PRV with a stage one conversion including a unique free flow exhaust

  • @ChrisVonBron thx men...amazing car

  • @SmashMat

    lol, I thought the same.

  • it's a volvo engine

  • @SmashMat It basically is the same engine found in the Fiero.

  • @vfIskullangel yes the same block but stroked...more displacement, compression...something like 245 horse, same sound like my 2.8 multi port in my Z24...awesome!!!

  • @SmashMat Nope. Not even close. Cause think about it the Camaro's and firebirds also had the 2.8 engines and they were making somewere in the neighborhood of 120hp. Deloreans made only 135hp Fiero's made 140hp. The only major difference is the intake.

  • @SmashMat They are both a 60* V6 IIRC, so it makes sense that they would sound very similar.

  • weres the flux cepasiter

  • My Gooooooooooooooooddd!!!!! 2:33 dying!!!!! beautiful!!!!! delicious!!!! excellent!!!!!! DeLorean!!!!!!

  • magor s klaksonem

  • Fantastic car :)

  • I love the Jackass at 2:01. Glad to see that America isn't the only country with dumbass drivers.

  • ok, im jealous haha.

  • I spent my 21st in this very car, the best birthday present i could have asked for :-)

  • I spent my 21st in this very car, the best birthday present i could have asked for :-)

  • Thanks Michael, August 2009 seems so long ago, but I really enjoyed the day up to Bradford!

  • Plan on making a video like this with my D someday. Love the exhaust mate - very nice sounding. I just have the CAT gutted... which gives a fairly good result for free!

  • can it travel in time so i can go back and get me some winning lotto number Power Ball lol

  • Great video! awesome camera angles

  • Laptop behind seat????

  • no, mono amplifier for the subwoofer.

  • yar nice sound

  • 5172 checking in here. Oct 81 5sp grey int. nicely done video!

  • my dream is to buy one of these pieces of history

  • Damn that car sounds so good to be a V6the GM 3.8 V6 is a very good sounding, overlooked, smooth, fast, good sounding powerplant, and this video is to prove it.

  • Actually it's a 2.8 liter Volvo V6 with a custom exhaust. Deloreans were sold at GM dealers when they were new though.

  • Well the 2.8 is a good engine too but I thought for sure it was a GM 3.8 but now that you mention it I believe it was a 2.8 but I didn't have a clue they were made by Volvo.

  • The PRV was used by Peugeot, Renault and Volvo hence the name. It was going to be a V8 but was reduced by two cylinders to improve enconomy during the oil crisis that was hitting the news at the time.

  • The PRV what's that?

  • PRV stands for Peugot, Renault, Volvo. Engine was used in Volvo sedans for many years. Very reliable.

  • Well I don't know much about the engine but alot of people thought the cars were junk because they gave alot of problems, I don't know what kind of problems but they did, not to mention that I knew a guy that had one down the road from me and it wouldn't start so he just let it set there because he didn't know how ot work on it, he finally got rid of it about 4 years later of just sitting there.

  • My friend bought his from the original owner after the car sat from 91 to 08. After cleaning the fuel system and changing some belts and hoses, the car ran fine. Usually starting problems result from fuel delivery issues or a bad cold start valve. The Delorean was rushed to production by order of the British government. As a result the quality of the cars suffered. With DMC back in production now updates are available to make these cars more useable. My friend had his serviced at a Volvo shop.

  • Yeah I do know that they make alot of aftermarket parts for these cars to make them like they should be.

  • If I ever get a car, it will be this one.

  • Delorean engine is so weak =S

  • That can be fixed. You can change the camshaft and the exhaust system and get 80 more hp out of the stock engine.

  • @jammer96 Yes i know, but i mean, the original DeLorean has a weak engine cuz it's an old car.

  • Nothing to do with being old. The PRV has seen 400BHP, so very capable when developed with time/money. The original DeLorean was rushed and economy was deemed more important initially. A Twin-Turbo was nearing completion just as the curtain came down...

  • And biostu just because a car is old or new has nothing at all to do with an engine being weak or not, I have a 1969 Dodge Superbee with the orginal matching nnumbers motor and transmission, a 383 Magnum HP engine and a 4 speed manual and I assure you that the car isn't weak at all. As a matter of fact it's pretty scary.

  • LOL

  • @biostu

My '72 240Z was old. There was nothin' weak about the engine, 'though. Pulled 135 miles according to the clock. That was in '97. You gonna tell us that an '81 911 is weak 'cause it's old?

  • Awasome vid man, beautiful sound of the engine. But what was all that electronic stuff behind the drivers side seat?

  • That looks like part of his stereo and a subwoofer.

  • All of that electronic stuff was the flux capacitor to go back in time dummy. Doc put it in there when he built the time machine in 1985. lol j/k funny though.

  • sick

  • wow your car i love how it starts up and how it seems to drive thats my dream car i like your video and sweet engin and listen to it puur

  • niiiiiiiiice thats 5 speed or 6?

  • 5 speed Renault

  • That car that pulled out in front of you must've been driven by Libyans.

  • Okay, now I have to wipe the drool off the computer. I love those cars.

  • You have the coolest car in all of Europe! Take that baby to the Autobahn and make it go 88 MPH!

    Or in your case142 km/h. :p

  • wow...mint! haha

  • Wow thats rare A uk version and its almost identitical to the 1 in the film

  • It's the original PRV engine with a customized exhaust. I have friend who has a Delorean with a twin turbo and a custom exhaust. Sounds great! Sounds like a Ferrari starting up.

  • its a v6, its just been aged

  • that's definitely not the stock 130hp v6. that is a beast.

  • Nicely shot and edited. Too much of the side shot, could've used some other interesting angles, but all in all, nice!

  • It makes a beautiful sound - anyone know what engine? Sounds like a V6.

  • You're right it is a V6. 2.85L PRV V6

  • @mrblondeno2 lol like an old z24..

  • a beautiful machine. Very sexy.

  • Always loved the DeLorean, a beautiful design.... Very deffinitely a dream car!

Shame they had one of the worst engines ever built, they should have had the much more reliable & tunable Cologne not that PVR lump.... That said, I always thought they sounded better than they were given credit for!

  • The PRV was used in racing at up to 400BHP. The DMC variant was all geared at meeting emissions hence the dive in performance. No matter what flavour of PRV they are bomb proof!

  • thats my dream car right there!

  • Its Mine As well

  • Nice camera work, but the engine sounds really rough.

  • When I turn 20, I'm buyin' a brand new one from TX!

  • pretty nice car. but this right hand driving. gosh. that would take some weeks to get familiar with it. during the video i nearley shouted..:..hey ...stopp... havent you seen...

  • Say mister, iv'e always wanted to know what they drive like. I have the feeling its like that top gear episode when they did the review on the countash. Basicly since a child the car is a thing of beauty and then James May slated the way the countach drove. Is it like that? Or is it truley a nice car to drive?

  • I've ridden in one and it's a blast. You have a stiff suspension and you sit low to the ground like a Corvette. The standard car is about as fast as today's economy cars. There are turbo and performance upgrades available for the Delorean to make it more of a sportscar. They use a Lotus Esprit frame and suspension. There a very comfortable car to ride and sit in. They have manual steering, but in a car weighing 2700 pounds it's not too bad. I love Deloreans and plan to own one one day!

  • But isn't the engine and steering from Renault?

  • Not sure about the steering but the engine is a Peugot, Renault, Volvo.

  • Hrm, whatever, the engine could be windup and it's still a badass car that I would be proud to drive. DeLorean > any and every Ferrari, Porsche and Lamborghini combined.

  • lol your GPS remindes me of time circuits

  • nice sound

  • nice car i want one

  • Awesome car.

  • nice

  • hehe, go back to the future...:P

  • it must be unusual to drive a car with the steering wheel on the left, changing lanes and such.

  • I'm also insured to drive my wife's car which is RHD. You soon get used to the switchover although at first you may find you slam your hand into door where the gear shift should be ;)

  • LOL @ 2:02 when he lays on that horn!

  • oh man, dude! can you post more?

  • I WANT IT!!

  • LOL! That's what I like... someone who isn't afraid to use the horn!

  • LOL dude cuts in front of you

    HONK!!!!!

  • How about adding the exhausts like in BTTF?

  • That's a sound effect.

  • What is? The sound in the film is a V8 dubbed sound effect. All the sounds in this video are real.

  • not only that, in the second and third films, they replaced the stock engines with Porsche engines.

  • Close, a Volkswagen engine and custom chassis were used for the white walled wheeled car used in Part III to cope with the plains whilst being chased by Indians.

  • Wow, Now THAT I didn't know! they must have used a Sandrail or Baha Chassis to do that.

  • in the video you´re like ¨lets see if you bastards can do 90¨ at 1:44 you´re only missiong the BTTF theme song!!! LOL

  • The most magnificent car ever built!

  • Whoever hates this car doesn't have a life or a brain. this is THE BEST car EVER.

  • "Where we're going we don't need... roads."

  • did you upgrade it

  • yes, see the description to the right of the video for more info.

  • car sounds good man

  • That V6 sound with that exhaust setup is music to my ears. Love it!

  • Ah man I lost it when I saw the navigation system. Whats that behind the seat? Couldn;t make it out. I'm getting a Delorean. And I'll convert it to battery power. But I'll keep the cheesy sounds, there cool.

  • Behind the seats are the crossovers (route the high pitched sounds to the tweeters and the mid range to the speakers). Also you can see the mono amp powering the mono subwoofer. Forget battery power, hydrogen is the future... Thanks for your comments.

  • Heh Heh forget 88mph I'm taking that car up to 120! I'm going to have a Noz Direct Port kit system in it, Improve the body weight, put some street tires, and I'm going to fix the engine for more speed. Oh and Manual Transmission so it can be a man's car only XD

  • 50% of the cars have a manual transmission like mine. The Pirelli tyres and body weight are pretty good. Weighing less than 1300KG, so what would you do to improve it? This car has already done over 135mph with capacity to spare...

  • i wanna buy this car and make it look like 1 from back to the future xD

  • Hey jammer96! i just wanted to say thanks for telling me about the drake & josh movie! I caught the delorean, and I even taped it to remember it! lol. and drake and josh is one of my favorite t.v. shows, so it was a winning combo, lol. again, thanks for telling me! long live the DMC!

  • I thought you might like it. I love how the plate comes off the car at the end and spins like BTTF. lol

  • yeah it was awesome! it was funny how the plate said "crazy 1", because the guy who was drivin' it was a little bit whack, lol. again, thanks for telling me! DMC rulz!

  • That car sounds fantastic! Sounds like a Ferrari 246 Dino.

  • nice sound!

  • Very nice DeLorean. I have an 83 Twin Turbo. I am safely boosting 7 pounds but 1 bar will damage the pistons, rings and head gasket. What exhaust are you using?

    Thanks
