me i dont play starcraft myself, but sometimes i watch replays when they are shown on youtube. i think i have never seen a protoss player (hope this is right :P) lose to another fraction. is this an unbalanced game or wtf? and which fraction does the #1 player in the rankings play?

@TheBIizzardStorm if you've never seen a protoss lose to a zerg or terran then you haven't watched enough games, it's like watching 2-3 protoss games and then calling protoss unbalanced. You have to remember, it's not the race that is so powerful, it's the player controlling them

@gravity000111 Most units have less shield than health and vs terran EMP removes the shields.

@gravity000111 Protoss players usually get +1 armor early game because it makes zealots so much stronger vs marines/marauders (zealots already have 1 armor, so the total is 2). Marines are a low damage but high DPS unit, meaning any increase in armor makes a huge difference. Then add guardian shield in the mix and they are literally almost unkillable until the terran gets their own upgrades.

@gravity000111 So it helps them survive terran timing attacks which usually happen around 7-10mins (when the protoss will try to expand). Conversely, protoss usually get +1 attack first against Zerg because of the relationship between zealots and zerglings (only 2 hits to kill a zergling instead of 3), so it helps with common protoss timing pushes around 7-10mins vs zerg.

Just the current state of the meta game. Just a couple of months ago it was almost reversed. Still lots of directions this game can develop in (Starcraft 2 in general), which I find promises a very interesting future.

In general, it does seem that the current meta game gives high level protoss a slight edge over terrans, but nothing to suggest it's an unsolveable imbalance. Still interesting to watch and always mistakes can be found :)

@the13fighter I can't really come back to that because I can't quite grasp what you're trying to say. Neither of them were all in, just by looking at the length of the game you can tell that. Dragon made like 7 bunkers in this game and only made turrets in the later part of the game. He didn't want to spoil the show match by completely steamrolling the guy, it wouldn't be entertaining. Same for desrow, they both played a really entertaining show match without spoiling it.

Guys, MegaUpload was taken down by the government today. Don't you realize that SOPA and PIPA only justified what the government could do? They realized they weren't going to pass the bill, and the difference between doing after the failed bill, and now was nothing. The Government could already take sites down, but it wasn't 100% justified. They can still take down things. If you want proof, just type in MEGAUPLOADoCOM and the governmental notice has been put ontop of it.
