  • As you may notice,,i did not do an EXTREME screw shot. Also i recommend Elk hard tips for best results along with sound cueing. You should never be in a position to ever have to screw the white real hard, and if you are it don't happen very often.

  • Thanks! But just wondering.. I have a cue that sucks.. No "pillow" on the top, just pure wood. Is it able to screw the ball then?

  • Based on English/Australian 8ball, buy a new cue, 9-10 mm tip. Use SOFT elk tip. This will assist with back spin if cueing action not perfect. Then replace HARD elk tip. This will help you to learn more about how important sound cueing to is achieve great white ball control. As for the cue start around the $100 mark then later on you will know what type of cue will suit you when your more advanced then you can spend anywhere from $200 - $400 bucks that will do for life.
