@therodiger Cybergoth is a lot like cyberpunk. Goth / punk but with a heavier emphasis on technology. 'The Matrix' is considered to be Cyberpunk because of all the technology and stuff. I don't really know myself. I'm just guessing

@RPSGT It's very similar, RPSGT. The main types of music, from my experience, in cybergoth culture are Industrial, Aggrotech, and EBM, which even I sometimes have trouble differentiating, since a lot of the bands don't actually try to stick to one genre.

I just think of it like ; Aggrotech likes to use fast things and/or high-pitched sounds like И waves (they really ripping sounds you hear), and Industrial is more militant and more bass-ey. Then EBM is anything I can't figure out.

the mage is now a scientist, the kingdom is now a corporation, ghosts are AI, monsters are mutants, curses are diseases, otherworlds are now other planets, etc.

Cyber goth makes me laugh. Raver & Goth are polar opposites ... now there's INDUSTRIAL which is along the same lines as raver, except with a darkwave feel. Combining elements of rave & goth is ridiculous & ludicrous to the point of amusing & laughable. The raver scene will remain as it was since it's been out there from its inception, but the the Goth scene has been bastardized & corrupted into something not worth claiming anymore.
