This was my first endgame toon in AoC, also had a Bear Shaman and HoX.

ToS was an awesome class, but Storm Crown go so OP I actually lost interest due to being able to kill other players by simply being present. The crits were uncalled for, lol.

you need quite a good computer, at least a 7600gt for a decent experience also 2 gigs of ram

minimum is 6600gt, but to get a decent experience you'll need a 2ghz dual core or more, 2gb ram and atleast an 8600gt...

Most likely it will run it. Judging from the cheapest version, I'd like to see 4 gigs of ram instead of 3 and I'd like to see a better graphics card as well.

The graphics do resemble guild wars. But by the looks of things the game play is MUCH better.

Guild wars IMO is very limited with some things.

alright guys...heres the dilemma...and i really need some help...after doing a ton of research i have narrowed my choices to three classes....Necromancer....HoX.­...and Dark Templer....the necromacer is nice but im not a fan of the "back lines"...the Dark Templer's leech is awesome...but i was told that dps isn't to strong and they really are meant for tank....then i I thought HoX...but i heard they run out of stamina too much and they pretty much get owned by ANY class...guys...suggestions?

I'm interested in ToS, but I'm curious about the cooldowns on their spells.

Are there cooldowns on the offensive lightning strikes?

I'm also curious about the root. How long does it last? Does it have a chance of breaking when a rooted target takes damage?

eq2 has stuns and mezzes too, not an unheard of mechanic. I just hope they do it like eq2, where once you get stunned, you get a short immunity so you can't be stunlocked....or permafeared.

CTF?!!!! Ever since WOW came out pvp has downgraded, turning into INstanced PVP Lame crappy Mini games like CTF. This is pretty much WSG. IMHO this game is turning out not to be as great as i thought, sure there might be some hope in FFA, but when The best gear in the game will be for hardcore raiders in PVE, and the best PVP gear is for the people who are hardcore high level pvp'rs its sounds like just another WOW

The game has guild created cities and siege combat to take over other guild's cities. The minigames are just a small part of the PvP.

CTF "or in AoC Capture the skull" has been in PVP history all the way back to First Person Shooters. So in respect to AoC i would be a little let down if the didnt have it. Beside that there are Siege's and Region areas that are always in conflict. Stop comparing everything to WoW, because AoC and WoW are NOTHING alike.

All classes were fun to play, to be honest. I built this computer in Janaury, it has the Q6600 (Intel's quad core), 4MB of Ram, and the Geforce 8800GTS. With that in mind, my setting were not maxed out. They were at the default values for high. Also, keep in mind I had Fraps running, so people with lower end computers should still be able to get high enough settings.

I really had fun playing every class I took the time to learn. If the Priest of Mitra sounds good to you then definitely go for it, I doubt you'll be disappointed.

Tempest of set appears quite versatile and fun. I do love how each class, even two soldier classes, play completely different. :)

That and it appears the combat is basic to learn, but theres a lot of hidden depth and complexity that really hinges on a players ability to use the system to it's fullest.
