Am I the only one who likes this better than the Circle of Life? Don't get me wrong, that's saying A LOT because the Circle of Life is an incredible song... but this one hits me harder. Going from the "oh oh iyo" to the first "he lives in you" with Mufasa's image in the sky is such a powerful feeling, sends a chill up my spine every time. Everything is so perfect. Brings tears to a nostalgic man's eye.

circle of life opening had a deeper meaning..but the melody in this..its soul touching..both are great. as epic as the opening was in the first movie..the movie was just as epic. same here, epic opening, only natural to have an epic sequel as well..personaly, this effects me more because i lost my father and it gives me chills listening to it.

@horsezox i don't know if i'd say it's better. it is a great song and it's put to much better use in the broadway musical in my opinion. so i'd say the songs are equal, but this scene is basically just a poor imitation of the first movie, so circle of life gets the edge a little for me
