Rofl. I know exactly what you're talking about. A friend and I used to play through survival mode on dramatic battle, max difficulty and max damage. Surprisingly it gets pretty hard near the end, since low and behold, you have to fight Shin Akuma. Lucky for us, I was also Shin Akuma XD. He was Blanka usually. Survival mode in that game 1 player got ridiculous, since you end up having to fight dramatic battles vs. those two girls, whatever their names were. "Cheap Sluts" is what it should've been
Yeah, I don't know anything about SF4. I've never even played it. The last time I used Akuma was on Street Fighter Alpha 3 for dreamcast, and he was overpowered as all fuck. Actually, I was using some unlockable Shin Akuma, who was the most OP. Threw 2 fireballs while in the air, was faster, had that uber move that I think you used in this video...
I understand. He is very notorious in that one. He's so overpowered you can link his fire fireball from a jab and if you're fast enough if I recall correctly you can even link a jab to his Raging Demon (when it is pulled off as a lone Super there is almost No Escape for his opponent).
And when both players use Shin Akuma in Dramatic Mode and activate the V-ism gauge simultaneously, guess how many double air fireballs they call keep pulling off. Haha I think we both know the answer to this one.
No Akuma may be overpowered in the PAST Street Fighter games, that I won't deny (and that's why I despise, dislike and would not use him) but in THIS Street Fighter IV he is not.
His moves may hit hard, but you must also know that he takes much more damage than all the other characters, and also the fact that he doesn't have much combos compared to Ryu, Ken and even Sagat.
He's not that intensely popular especially in IV, and especially compared to these much more overpowering characters.
And in IV his special moves have been cut down drastically too, especially from his cheap glory days in Street Fighter Zero (or what you Westerners call Alpha) 3, like in that garbage game called Third Strike.
And I think even Akuma in Third Strike is a bit better.

Making Akuma weak is stupid.

And especially when they exaggerate that.

Lol I can imagine, complaining about Sagat when you're using the most OP character in all of Street Fighter's existence, Akuma.
