If the 10th Amendment is the problem, why did the people constitutionally amend direct election of Senators? It's simple, they saw the effects of corruption in their states. I live in one of the worse states there is, Illinois, and the day the people here can't seek redress, rights, equality, and hold the state to the federal Constitution and otherwise will be a sad one indeed. I really like Ron Paul when it comes to economics, but he has serious issues with respect to the 1st and the 14th Amendment.
